Looking at http://apolyton.net/ctp2/images/view...tiplebuild.jpg it seems there isn't a column which tells us how many turns 'til next pop., as was implemented in one of the CTP patches. This was very useful. Why isn't it there anymore? The original food column wasn't any help at all last time. Has one of the changes in the system now made the column useless?

Mark, with all these questions, do you feel like a primary school teacher with a rabble of inquisitive kids?
Just curious.

A question about governments: When you achieve Democracy, how long does it take to resolve elections?

Thanks again Mark.
In your first screenshot on the second page, there are some blue dotted lines from city-to-city. Are those trade routes?
Also, there are some cities (Londinium & Tarentum) that have a pier-like thing sticking out of them. Is that what it is?

Markos, you have right: the screens which give us all kind of informations and the manager screens (city, army, production, etc) were greatly improved. It looks like Activision did finally a great job! They reduced the micromanagement and increased the quality of empire-management!
This game looks better and better, with every daily Apolyton Preview! I didn't see so many "smilies" on Apolyton for centuries
Markos, how good is this new resource-gathering system? Beyond the fact that reduces micromanagement, does it work well?
Oh yeah, that Ctrl+S, Crtl+L feature is just great!

About the pop cheat thing.
In diffDB.txt CTPI had:
AI_TECHNOLOGY_COST
AI_PRODUCTION_COST_ADJUSTMENT
AI_GOLD_ADJUSTMENT
With different values for each difficulty.
Anyone care to guess what they did?
Here's a hint. Values were > at easy levels and < 1 at hard levels.
Oh and I could have sworn I saw a pop cheat factor while trolling through CTP files but I can't find it now.
I guess what I'm saying is... no big deal.

from Markos review
I did manage to crash CTP2 btw(now some people can go to sleep), when I tried to start a game with 32 civs on the World Map. Apparently, a new version of the scenario file must be created for 32 civs. I'm sure someone will figure it out...
[/quote]
Look, I don't want to come off as being no more that another nay-sayer for CTP2, but I hope you mean someone at Activision, Markos?
