How do you stop mayors from polluting?
To save time I entrusted a couple of big cities to mayors. They built laborers and started polluting. Every time I saw that pollution was "in the red" I adjusted the city to fix the problem, but the mayor promptly changed things back.

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

The mayor are a problem with pollution. I was hoping they had a lower pollution mayor since pollution is a big focus later in the game and in dipolmacy. Maybe the good folks at actvision could include a pollution mayor in the patch. Should not be too hard.

i am afraid that the choices for the specialists are common for all mayors....

perhaps a "mayors dont control specialists" option would be a solution.
