Feats of Wonder ROCKS
I played for 7 hours straight..and built 3 feats of wonder..let me try to remember...I lost 1 city..and regained it and got one for that..One for building a dozen brokerages..although a dozen has no signifigance..it said I built MANY..no specific number though was needed..then I built computer and got one..
This CTP:2 ROCKS!!!!

You get a FoW for being the first Civ to discover Concrete as well. All cities get a production bonus for a few turns.

If you build 'many' theaters you get +5 happiness for a number of turns, and when you are the first to have researched gunpowder you get an attack bonus vs citywalls.
I'm not sure yet wether I like the FoW's. They seem to make the civ that is already ahead even stronger.

There's one for being the first to sail around the world. All of your ships get +1 move for 25 turns.

wow, the ai isn't smarter than our own government. Were still alive and neighbors to the most powerfull and hostile nation in the world, obviously unable to wage a war
Seriously though, how is the game, is it better than the first, or just a newer version of the old. I read the first "official" review and it didnt' sound too promising.

I got one for computers too. gave a science bonus.
and I like the game. I am half way thru my first game or so. it's like 1500. the middle game is a little slow right now because I am at peace with just about everyone. The AI makes a LOT more boats and subs than the first one. so I am shoring up my coastal defenses. but so far I have not had a problem with random boats coming up and pilaging me. in fact all of the early boats (not sure about the fire trireme) have no attack values and I don't think they can pillage. which is a wonderful change.
it takes some getting used to. and I don't like the national city manager screen. but other than that I like it a lot!

All the FOW's are listed in feat_str.txt in the english/gamedata folder. I could post them but then it won't be a surprise anymore!
