Double turns and corrupt save games question

Sorry, I couldn't delete this post...

I had thought the problems occured after I conquered another civ but I found a save game that gave me double-turns before this. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to intentionally cause the problems when starting a new game from scratch.

most save game bugs only happen when you loasd from an already loaded game i.e. saving before big battle , losing shamefully , trying to load up your last saved game.try quitting the game and go back into main menu and load up...
