help me
I have not played civ 2 in a long time. Please tell me which key it is that unites my forces. You know, to have more than one unit together as one. Thanks.

You mean stacking units? Put one on top of the other(s) and hit F to fortify. Unless you mean something else entirely.

This is anew trick to me.
I think you're talking about WarCraft and not Civ2.

I tried the "f" key, all my units do is
build a fort.

You cannot actually combine units in civ - they are always independent and move and attack as single units. However, when a number of them are stacked into a single square they are all vulnerable to attack defending as the _single_ best defensive unit - if it loses the whole stack dies. The only defense to this is to be in a city, or to be in a fortress (built by a settler/engineer using the f key).
Hope this clarifies the situation

Thanks. I guess I just remembered doing it
in Call to Power and thought I did it in
Civ 2 also. Thanks again for the help.
