Yo - I'm 20, MIS major at UT Austin (go horns!). Does anyone else play Strategy games like CTP...AND...3D shooters like Counterstrike? I fear I am a rarity this way.
p.s. If, by chance, you DO play Counterstrike...come to "El Nino - 24/7 Militia" (209.163.147.37:27022) and [TNG]Picard-GalacticPimp (thats me  ) will smoke you!

Rare indeed! I'm an MIS major in Chino,CA. I play CTP2, Red Alert 2, & Counter-strike. HEHE And I've played at El Nino too! Perhaps I'll smoke you back!

i guess we are not so rare... I am a Civ addict, but TFC is my second best... also i should download counterstrike as well... but there isn't (always) enough time for both

Wow Joseph you sound alot like me. I remember getting my hands on every one of Sid's games as soon as they came out. Back then it was on 5.25" floppies and 4 colors for me! I remember thinking what a great thing it was to have 16 colors.
I too played the XCom series, RRT, Colonization, etc. Had a friend give me his copy of Civ (he hated it) and have been hooked since then. Didn't buy CTP 1 as I had heard some bad things about it. Saw CTP 2 today at Media Play and had a gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket - the rest is as they say is history.
BTW, my age is 41.
