Manipulation
This is a spin-off of my Early Diplomatic Warfare thread. This time, I have tested the stratigy and it takes place in the industrial/modern era.
My friend and I are playing a hot seat game, and we are teaming up against the Zulus, who overpower both of us. What I have done is switched to Fundementalism and put Capitalism in almost all my cities, except one or two to make spies. This way, the AI will make the units and tech, and you just take it.
So, here are the steps: Get Communism to get spies. Then get Fundy and get all that extra cash to help you. At this state you will still have to support your own military to conquer and defend. Finally, get Corperation. Now you will get lots and lots of cash each turn (about 500 with less then 10 cities). You can now bribe practily several units a turn with a ton of cities.
