Anyone for a PBEM game?
Now many people are just testing the PBEM ability, and seem to know that it works. So, I would like to have some guys on for the first PBEM game in CtP II that would be so organized, and playable like the ones before, in CtP I.
I think we can find some people that want playing, for sure.
Come on you guys, I know you want to play. I want it, too .
If someone agrees, we'd switch to a more detailed discussion of settings.

I'll give it a go. Settings don't matter. Any civ will do.

Like I mentioned in the thread in Ctp-multiplayer, what about the problem with human-human diplomacy?
AFAIK, it's not possible (I've tried 70 turns of hotseat)

Well, I'm waiting for your PBEM test results (20 turns against yourself ) before I buy it. But if you are successful in your test... who knows? I might try it.

Is it absolutely impossible? Haven't played so much turns... Of course, offers could be made thorugh forums / email.
Quinns, you little bastard! Go out and buy CtP II Right Now !!! It will work, so move and buy. And better a full, legal version.

Well, like I mentioned elsewhere, I tried exchanging maps and offering cease-fires, and those didn't work. So I expect that exchanging techs is out of the question. If you don't mind those, then I guess it's ok.

OK, I strongly advice quinns not to buy ctpII, this game is totally bugged, and there's nothing more than CTP, the interface, that's the only thing that changed....Anyway, I tried HotSeat yesterday, with two fellas, it didn't crash, as long as you dont try to use a scenario to avoid the first steps of the game (which are really slow), and above all it seems that it's impossible to save a game and to load it back.....
I didn't try to install the patch, cuz it dont fix anything in the HS/PBEM part.
The Activision's behaviour is scandalous, they don't do anything to fix all that mess....
