problems with sharing in the internt options

I am not able to play when the sharing is activated in the internet options. The text i type in in the lobby chat apears twice then and i neither can create nor join a game. When i deactivate sharing, everything is okay. But it would be nice feature, especially in multiplayergame, because my girlfried and i want to play parallel. Has anyone found a solution for that?

If i connect through a proxy server, which ports have to be enabled? Which serveradresses have to be enabled?
