Modpacks and multiplayer
uh, hey.
Um, can I still play multiplayer if I have changed something in some of my CTP2 files (I added some new civs, and took out some ones I didn't like) Can I still play multiplayer? will my changes affect the game? how can it if the person im playing with hasn't made changes on their end?
would it still work?
Thanks
FC

I'm not really sure but I don't think so. To play MP, the databases are supposed to be 'in sync'. Whether changing the Civ names breaks the 'in sync' rule, I can't say.

I don't know 'bout CtP2, but I once asked Wes Whitaker about playing the MedMod in CtP1 multiplayer. His response was that as long as both/all players are using the exact same files, you can play multiplayer. Whether this is true for CtP2 is unknown by me, but keep in mind that multiplayer has had its own host of problems so far.
Hope this helps.
