How do you change map sizes?
How can I change the size of the map so its bigger than 'Gigantic'? I'm trying to make a large world map, but the 'Gigantic' size is only good enough for a map about the size of a Civ2 world map, which is scarcely adequete for CTP2.

Changing map sizes is easy once you check out what's in const.txt.... you'll find the map sizes for each of the 4 types... just increase gigantic to 210x210... beyond that and there seems to be a problem with the AI building roads? If you want a pre done map, and there's lots out there check out my site, http://ctp2.homestead.com it's a small collection, but I thinks it's complete for maps to date.

Hi Bob,

To change map size you have to go into the map.txt file also. Once you make the change in Const.txt file you need to go into the Map.txt file and make the same change on the Gigantic map setting. Once you see the file, it will be self explanatory.

One small and important thing not mentioned here - in the userprofile.txt file in CTP2\ctp_program\ctp directory, change MapPlugin3=dll\\map\\plasma2.dll to MapPlugin3=dll\\map\\fault.dll.

This is often overlooked, but it is important.
