Newbie Help

I'm pretty new to all this stuff but I need help creating scenario's. I really don't get all this SLIC stuff. It's complex, but i know i can get it. It just has to hit me. I pretty much need to know the basic stuff, i'm used to creating scenario's from other games with triggers. If anybody can help me i will be really happy. I'm dying to create my own scenario. HELPPPPPPPPP

You'll be pleased to know that if you wish to make scenarios, and not modifications, then you will not have to touch SLIC code at all.

Just launch the scenario editor, and from there, create your map, select civilizations and their starting locations, and etc.
