download the mods into a scenario folder without a set map it creates a random map so it's like playing a normal game.
Go into D:\Program Files\Activision\Call To Power 2\Scenarios and create a new folder, UNITMOD1 extract the files into that folder. Usually the files are set to extract inside a file structure such as
D:\Program Files\Activision\Call To Power 2\Scenarios\UNITMOD1\scen0000\default\aidata.
Open up CTP2 and select the Unitmod scenario. You can change the random map settings, difficulty etc and still have the new units.
This way when you are playing a normal CTP2 game in multiplayer you don't have the extra units.
