What games are you looking forward to?
Now that E3 is over, what games are you looking forward to?
Apart from the obvious Civ 3, the following:
MOO3
Empire Earth
Monopoly City
Simsville
Trade Empires
Stars! Supernova Genesis
Galactic Civilizations
Anno 1603
Zoo Tycoon
Moon Tycoon?
Red Alert 2 Add-on
SimGolf (well, worth a look I suppose)
and probably many others that I've forgotten for the moment.

I'm really looking forward to Sigma, which seems like an "Island of Dr. Moreau" kind of game...hybrid critters do battle.
There is also an MS train simulator game coming out soon...but I really want one where I can design the track myself and then "ride" the train with a cockpit view.....anyone heard of a game like that? Or a "design your own golf course and then play it" game?
I'd like a decent baseball game as well....

MOO3
Galactic Civilizations
Not many other games have peaked much of interest, too much RTS and FPS. I'd like to see some new types of genres, finding time to play them is a whole other story.

What's that game called?
There's a strategy game coming out about running trains in America but I can't remember what it's called.

Yes, sort of, but it's still being developed. I think it's called something like Trains Across America.

Simsville.
I dont have much hope for empire earth - it looks like an AOE clone - nothing "civish" except the time period. Still waiting for "civ in real time"
Still curious what Brian and BHG are working on.

Still looking forward to Wizardry 8. I hope Sir-Tech finds a publisher soon.
Other games worth consideration so far:
MoO 3, maybe
Civ 3, very likely
Arcanium, likely
Age of Wonders 2, very likely

What! Where did you hear about this? Where can I find out about it. Is it for TA (the original) or TA2?

Civ3
Star Wars Galaxies
No others have really struck my fancy. The New As Yet Unnanounced Adventure Game That LucasArts Aditted To Having Started Development For would be the top pick, of course.

That train game name...
That train game name I couldn't remember before is called Rails Across America and there is a site for it at http://www.flyinglab.com/rails/?contact.html and I just found out there's a demo for it. Try the Downloads button.

Stars! Supernova Genesis and the new Lucas Arts games seem to be the only ones on my radar screen worth paying attention to.

Yeah I recently got SMAC for about that.
TOAW is the Operational Art of War, I just know that, I never played it
I guess I'll be unoriginal and pick the
"The New As Yet Unnanounced Adventure Game That LucasArts Aditted To Having Started Development For"
Civ 3
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
and also hold hopes for a NOLF2

Not to sound like a broken record, but...
MOO3
Civ3
Stars: Supernova! (I thought this was supposed to be out already?)
Doom2
Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Oh, and I gotta get a GeForce 3, especially before I get the last two games on my list!

SuperSneak... Microsoft's Train game is just like that. Once the editor is available. You run the train from the cockpit. (It was in the game news just a while back that a major train line refused to let M$ use their stuff for fear it would teach people how to run their locomotives! Then they'd have to fear joy riders and hi-jackes. I think it was Union Pacific). Also... Look for Train Engineer Deluxe. I got it. You create your layout and then go pilot the train (from the cockpit). Another one I've SEEN, but I didn't pick up, is Lionel Trains game. It looked to be the same thing as Train Engineer Deluxe, only using Lionel branded items. (You build your model layout, with scenary and what not, then can drive your train around, delivering cargo and passengers and what not. And do it from the cockpit.)
I'm looking forward to:
Master of Magic 2 (Quick Silver says that they have an option to do MoM2, IF MOO3 does decent)
Master of Orion 3
Star! Supernova Genesis
Simsville
I'm not too excited about Civ3. I'll probably pick it up though when I see it. As well as Startopia, Moon Colony Beta, and a few others "interesting" games, regardless of price at the time. But I can wait, and I'm not going "nuts" over them.
