All I'll say is that I had all the appropriate innoculations. They seem to have worked.

Well, indeed. The further terrifying thing is that I could face three weeks up there. I wonder if I'll need fresh innoculations.

Excuse me? Did I say something wrong?
This is a public thread. We are all welcome to post here. If you want a private game discussion why don't you retire to AH's Gin Room instead of making vulgar utterances here?
I'm not telling anyone how to play. I'm just reminding everyone of our consensus on the Aussie rules.
You say you are easy going about the rules but the first to get annoyed when diferent rules apply to what you wanted.
I've accepted the vote and haven't argued rules ever since. finbar argued that a certain game was epected to be simul and I simply agreed about that expectation.

Yes, I also think we should keep our discussions here out of the gutter. So enough of the name calling please.

You guys are turning into a bunch of pantywaists.
You should have seen the vicious torching I got at ACOL yesterday.
I found it quite invigorating, really.
Hydey just felt offended that his efforts to host a game (which was fun, BTW) were disparaged.
He's not exactly the delicate flower you blokes are, you know. He works for a living.

Sneak fried
What thread at ACOL did you get done over in?
And I don't mind the odd rough remark but name calling does get tiresome after a while, even if its not directed at me.
Apart from that, stay out of it Sneak, the Australians are talking

I got torched in the "Welcom Isdandar" thread I think. It was quite vicious and personal...but oh well.
So you guys are talking, eh? My translator software refuses to spit out anything but guttural grunts and monkey noises.
I'll be around for games this weekend...you guys going to do another Sunday afternoon game, or do I have to get up at 5am to play?

It's "hic" not "hick". A "hick" is a bumpkin or a redneck.
A "hic" is the sound Finbar makes after trying to drown his misery on the airplane to Brisbane. They just can't get enough booze in those little bottles.
You just can't get anything right today, can you?

That's the American spelling.
Do you guys spell it differently?
Perhaps with an "e"?
I like mistakes. I was one...mistakes enrich the world.
And keep Finbar busy.
In fact, I think I'll leave it like that, just to get on your nerves.
Pertinant, pertinant, pertinant...

Ha ha! Thanks for that, Raz.
Gentlemen, please peruse the above poster's posts, as well as Hydey's.
Then come back and make a legitimate slam against this po' lil' illiterate's very rare flubs.
If I didn't know better, I'd say Australia forcibly evicts its students from school after the 6th grade.
Either that or you all have gnarled claws for hands.
