An Important Question (Please Answer ASAP!)
I'm in the middle of a civ2 game on deity level. I am in a position to finish a wonder next turn. Which one should I build?
My choices:
Hanging Gardens
Colossus
Lighthouse
Oracle
Great Wall
Sun Tzu
Most likely, I will only have a chance to build one of these, as the ones I don't build now will be built soon by other civs. I need a quick answer! Which one????
I'm not that experienced at games on deity level so I simply don't know which one I should build.

Save your Game.
Then the question won't be so urgent.
(just kidding)
Depends on what kind of player you are. Save the game here and try them all.

I would choose Oracle.
Also gardens would be wise
But Oracle better b/c it compensates two citizens. Gardens only 1.
Lighthouse sucks anyway
Sun Tzu nice, Great Wall also nice, but hapiness is more important.

In Deity level I always try to get as many happiness wonders as I can b/c the fewer people you have to have out of the field, the better off you will be.

Colossus, if you want a SSC, or Sun Tzu if you are trying to conquer the world early. Otherwise, pick HG. That's probably what I would do.

No way! I would NEVER choose Oracle over Hanging Gardens, and here's why.
1) Oracle can make two unhappy citizens content, but HG makes 1 content citizen happy. Generally, I prefer the happy citizen for WLTXD purposes. Moreover, you get 3 happy citizens in one city which really helps that city grow.
2) I get to Theology MUCH sooner than Railroad, so HG lasts longer.
3) Since I get to Theology quickly, Mike's Church and Bach's Cathedral do the job of handling unhappiness issues and they do it better.
4) HG costs only 200 shields, 100 less than Oracle.
So, having said all that, I would build HG if I anticipated a relatively peaceful growth period or Sun Tzu if I anticipated a lot of war.

its probably too late but since you don't play deity very much you should definitely take The Garden's.Happiness is the main problem of deity.

The Gardens and expand like mad - the Oracle only works if you have temples - as DaveV would say a temple costs one settler - can you afford a settler (I don't think so!)
p.s. be careful - the mods don't like cross-posting on the fora.
