Oh great. After months of interest, I finally get ready to play my first OCC game. What I wanted to do the first time is to do one of the comparison games listed at Paul's site. However, I cannot load any of them. I tried them all and each time, it crashes the Civ program. I have MGE with the patches, so I know others mentioned this problem before, but I forgot the solution. Can someone help me? In the meantime, I'll make one myself.

Steve - the Four Whales start is available here in the Apolyton data base. It wasn't an official OCC comparison game, but enough people have played it that you might be able to find a few threads out there.

Glad to see you were successfull tackling this in MGE, (I saw your other thread.) It is doable, but does require a slightly different approach. And I am doubly glad that my posts in OCC#2 helped.
