Help!

I have Civilization II Multiplayer on my pc. and im trying to be able to play in multiplayer games. I have installed patch 1.3, but when attempting to load the patch, it tells me......"there is no version of Civ 2 Mult GOLD on this pc". I dont have the GOLD edition, just the multiplayer. Can anyone tell me a patch i can download where u dont need gold edition, or anyway to get around this problem.

Help would be much appreciated!

You might have installed the wrong patch. The Multiplayer add-on requires a different patch from the MGE one. You can find the 1.3 patches HERE, you´d have to choose the last one (1.90 MB). If you uninstall Civ2 and reinstall with this new patch it should work... Or so I hope, because I don´t have multiplayer myself.

I found the same problem, because you have a UK edition, I suspect. I found no solution, so I still have corruptible units and cities under democracy grr.
