Firaxis, some questions about resources
Ok i have a question about the resource model for the game.
How many resources sites will it take to power an empire?
Is it one site per city building the unit which needs that resource?
or
Could one little iron mine allow all 20-30 cities in a civ build legions, and still allow this civ to trade to all of the other civs in the game?
or
Do each resource site have a number attached to it, like for example one oil well might produce 6 barrels of oil each turn while another produces 8...but this would mean that a tank for example would require x amount of shields and then x amount of which ever resources it required
also
if a civ (or city) doesn't have access to a resource could it still begin work on that unit?
the the resource is cut off can units being built be completed? can they still be worked on? what exactly happens? is the city forced to switch production?
