He'll have to ask his wife. Thus, you'd be better off going straight to the Horse's mouth - which is to say, Mrs Horse.

Quite the opposite, Hydey. Ever since mrs finbar met Deity and Horse, she said I deserve to spend as much time as possible with them. Actually, I'm still trying to fathom her subtext.

I am the one? How modest
Ha ha ha - sorry for calling you a chump and a wimp - I thought you were an American wannabee. I get a lot of people contacting me about games when I'm online checking my mail. Strangely my D/L's get a whole different set of invitations - go figure.
But don't call any of the Yanks coward - they'll get all John Wayne on you.
Actually Markus I can only play from about 9pm Australian evenings, which currently GMT plus 9. Mrs Horse demands that I at least make some effort to help her with the housework and to be a father and husband. If that is cowardice, so be it.
Your best shot of a game is when I am on leave from work or home sick on a work day. I usually make it known if I'm going to be around at better times because I like to play people I usually can't. That's why I was so annoyed at Eyes for cheating - I wasted four days of a five day leave on the little worm.

A simple explanation
He's Canadian. They missed out on the logic gene.

why on earth?
Nuh. Germans can use apostrophes. Check out the title of this thread.
What's more, war4ever is Canadian, and he's as full of it as markus. Ergo, markus must be Canadian.

Tag teamed by the Canucks
Well "the coward" had quite an enjoyable session with the 2 Canucks on Monday afternoon (Aussie time).
Markus and War4 fancy themselves as great players but I must have them worried because although it was a no alliance game they both were cooperating furiously and freezing old horsie out, which sadly nearly always happens in 3 cornered games. This gave them a bit of a lead in techs and pop but not a huge one.
How do I know they were working together? One of the brainiacs forgot to mute me on Kingchat It was mostly Markus tutoring War4 on his trade theories and them commenting on my progress. Quite funny to listen to, "oh, has he?", "Yeah I saw that", "I'm researching it now", "my trade is 107" etc.
But it was fun and they were mostly well behaved.

Hmmm...sniff, sniff.....blood? Hmmm......
That's not what you told me on ICQ.
The language you used was pretty harsh, as I recall.
Something about Canada "wishing they could carry Australia's jockstrap" or something like that.
Shocking.

Secret Aussie plan
Horse got me to chat to War4 in an attempt to distract him, War4 had to stop chatting as he was making too many errors.
I love it when a plan comes together.

horse forgets to mention his wanting to quit when i bribed a horse in an apparent no bribe at all game. Must be more of these "down under rules" i am not aware of.
Hydey i did stop talking to you ......betweeen horse's accusations, markus's asking me about trade in my cities and your icq messages along with Caesar messaging me as well, i couldn't keep up and made too many errors.
As far as being in cahoots with markus, nah, more like a caravan friendly exchange, horse's empire was too far away and too small to be of any use to me.
However i had an open door policy, and told him to send his caravans my way but for some reason he did not
plus the kings chat was for fun......Horse disappeared to help the missus at least three times, one of which he neglected to even tell us he would be gone for the 5 minites so we waitied and chatted wondering if horse's wife had hit him on the head with the fryer
All in all it was fun, but admittedly three player games are a duel with someone lagging behind. No offense AH but the way the map was layed out, you didnt' stand a chance.
Lets play again with four people, and this way (hopefull) we shall have a more even start.
Oh btw, i even had peace treaties this game, and traded tech, two things in most of my games i do not do....tech traded hands with both markus and Alexander, so no one was squeezed out.
cheers and good civin

War4 or War claw?
Arii, you can take my civ if you like. The chances of me being available to play again with these 2 bozo's again is about nil. Its a good civ with good land and a very good defensive layout. I was about to take off with WLTLD when the session ended. I just got the Chapel.
I'm just going to ignore all war's catty comments. It was a good session and I was well placed. I only made one mistake - tipping a hut when I should have waited until I had established a city there, but that is being addressed.
On the whole War was surprisingly well behaved, almost civilised.
Both of them used that childish tactic of moving borders by establishing cities but as long as you know what you're dealing with, that's okay.
I'm not doing day sessions again. Its no fun fetching and carrying, helping Mrs Horse assemble a cot and watching to make sure the children don't go on the road whilst trying to play civ. What a time waster that game is during the day.

You played well....leave it at that.....
wow, you don't have to go to the zone to find trouble, it's right here at POLY

the last word
Now, now War, don't be churlish. I did not complain all game.
I would have dearly loved to ram the horse force right up your clacker. Another time perhaps.
3 way games don't lend themselves to warfare anyway. Either 2 gang up on 1 or 1 stays out of the war and wins by leaping ahead in pop and techs.

War 4 worms
Did I say I was winning? You're the one having the boastfest.
I thought you would attack me but I'm glad you didn't early because there is nothing worse than war during BC. Better to let the civs expand first.
I doubt we'll ever get to duel because I'm not playing again in the daytime here if my family is home. Its too much of a hassle.
But you remain on my list of players who must die

i tend to find that early warfare is not very succesful if the other player has defended at all, if the other palyer is looking for war like you, it is a game of woh gets to the other first, horses versus warriors kinda stuff, but horses versus vet phalanx is different story
