Ok I've bumped this I was told to
I didn't see this when I posted my thread.
We are just beating Unreal now with warcraft 3 at over 800.

dainbramaged13 - I'm sure you can vote more than once. If not deleting the Gamespot cookie will probably do it.

Wow. When I found the link CivIII, was really low on the list. Now it's beating Unreal II. Sean is right. Apolyton is a power.

Behold the monster I have unleashed.

The polls are up the poll
Perhaps that's why alot of these polls don't mean much. They're biased because orgranised minority groups get in and vote on mass. And if you can vote more than once it makes the whole situation ludicrous.

Ok, i voted, it's up to 12% now, but Warcraft 3 is 25%, another 455 votes would be good.

Heretic note...
... are you considering others games, or are you voting Civ just pushed by your hope of Civ III as a good game?

Where you at E3? Do you look a preview of every game mentioned into the poll? Just wondering

You know, there are others game out there...

Rigging the votes
"Loading" the voting, creating a biased outcome by voting several times - reminds me of a TV show called Big Brother which allows the same thing. Not exatly honest and fair though. We may love Civ 3 but that doesn't mean the majority will think it's the best game. Something we just have to live with.

Loading the voting won't speed up game production, but will hopefully put more pressure on the Gamespot editors to update their Civ3 previews more often, Firaxis has a strangle hold on info, why not get reinforcements?
