Need some help
I am looking for ANY scenarios that involve South America around 1850 thru 1930. And I mean ANY!
I've begun work on a new historical scenario that i've become obsessed with and plan on putting a lot of work into it.
It's set in Central South America in 1899 and i'm looking for what type of weapons the Latin nations had at the time and any scenarios which might give me an idea of what their units were and looked like.
Any info at all will be much apreciated. Thanks.

As far as units go, I wouldn't rely on someone else's graphics. Your best bet for accuracy would probably to find a book here that's topic is what you want. http://www.osprey-publishing.com/ I think that they are probably the most accurate out there. The books will cost ya' about $15 but it is worth it. If you find what you want on there you might be able to get it for about $3 on E-bay.

Yes, Eternal, something like the Bolivar scenario.
I already have several detailed books on the subject. I'm simply interested to see what else is out there on the subject scenario-wise and what ingenuitive ideas have been used in others' scenarios (i.e. events, units, terrain, rules, etc.).
I have plenty ideas of my own, I just wanna get some more. Plus my own artwork rather sucks.

Did you take a look at Jay Bee's and Kindal's The war of Cuba?
How about Andrew Hoekzema's The Spanish-American war?

Take a look at the Spain & Latin America section of the Spanish Civ Site. There a couple of scens in there that might be what you're looking for.

I know of a scenario you should look into. It had me hooked for hours playing as Chile: Michael Daumen's Libertad O Muerte! .
It's not quite in your time-frame, but if you're looking for a good South American scenario - this one, imo, has raised the bar for those to come.
Give it a look - I believe that you can find it at the Jay Bee's website.
Thanks,
JP
