New to Patches

Hello,

I've never downloaded a patch before. Can anyone tell me, which patches that I should have loaded in, to make my gameplay better? I'm using the original civ2 game for a PC. In other words, which patches are a must for a civ2 enthusiast?

Also, to get rid of them, I just uninstall the game and then reinstall it, right?

If you have the original non-multiplayer version of the game - and, reading your other post, you seem to - I think the 2.4.2 patch available on this site is for you.
