Multiplayer: no start techs, kick player, simultaneous movement
I'd like to remind Firaxis of these issues: Please, Please think of the multiplayers
No start techs:
In multiplayers games if a player gets a start tech they get a huge advantage and players usually restart. Yesterday we had to restart 5 times. I've seen over 10 restarts before play could underway.
Kick Player
Sometimes the game hangs because a player loses connection but the comp thinks they are still playing. Other times people just fall asleep or get called away. A player fell asleep in a big game last weekend. It caused major hassle because there 5 players. If there was an option for the host to remove a player, but not their civ, that problem would be solved.
Simultaneous Movement
Should be an option. Its the most popular way to play since we found out how to modify our civ file in the windows folder and make it happen. Simult for movement, turnbased for war would be even better.

yes, administrative functions would be a nice addition.
or if you want to be stupid democrats about it, voting could work i guess.
but i always hated voting compared to a single admin, or an eleite group of admins.
people cant rule themselves.

Think of multiplayers when setting wonder parameters too!
I forgot to mention wonders - Eiffel Tower and the UN are useless in Multiplayer games. The Oracle is never built because it expires way too early.
Nice if you could have 4 or 5 happy wonders with long life on DIFFERENT research paths so not every human player was researching to the Chapel from the start of play, which is what happens now unless you get Hanging Gardens. The happy wonders dominate play at the higher difficulty levels.
If you aren't having fundy govt (Damn!!!), why not a wonder or 2 that give fundy like benefits? Just a thought.

Fundamentalism was too powerful. Once you had all of your techs and were going for a conquest victory, it would be stupid not to put yourself in fundamentalism. Good riddance.
