Question about Tech Status Screen
I am new to Civ2, and unable to find the answer to this question in the manual.
When I go to the Tech Status screen (or whatever its called, but by I get there by pressing F6) there are a couple of techs whose text color is displayed in white, while the rest are displayed in blue. Is there any significance to the techs with white text?

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that those indicated in white are ones that at least one other Civ does not have, so they could be traded.
Similarly, when you get an embassy and look at another CIv's sciences, the ones in white are the ones that you do not have.

It's just the technologies you discovered first. And in the diplomatic screen the white ones are the ones they have but you haven't, if any

Gee, Since of about 20 techs only a couple were white, I think I need to work on my game skills! (hey I have only had the game a couple of weeks). Thanks Paul L.
