In an MP game you can actually cede territory and pay reperations, as well as send military units in a much more effective way than in a PBEM game.

Scott, including the Easter Rising... a stroke of genius!!! One of the most important moments in Irish history, if the Irish had been vistorious, who knows how the war would have finished. A crucial moment in the 1st World War, it has been sadly neglected, until now... Congrats are in order! btw the rest of the scenario looks fabulous too!
I can't wait to try this out!

You'll be happy to know that in the series of books on which this scenario is based, the Irish uprising succeeds. A lot of other stuff happens too, but I don't want to give the books away for those who have not read them or are still reading them.

That's strange.
Has anyone else had that problem?
I'll test part V later today and see if I have any problems.

I was just wondering if you had seen the excellent tanks and planes made by Hobbes.

I'm going to do camo schemes for the various tanks/barrels, but I can't decide on which schemes are most appropriate. The choices are below. Any ideas?

Oh, and I've arranged a multiplayer PBEM game (unless I can't figure out how to set it up). We still need a CSA, a France, and a Russia to get started. If anyone is interested, they can post their claim here or can visit this thread and a different forum:

Decisions, decisions...
I think I'll stake my claim to the CSA, I trust my human opponent will put up more of a fight (and strategy) than the AI.
I've never done PBEM though, so maybe I'll have to learn how to do that somehow?

maybe
I will take France if it is not already taken. I am a virgin to PBEM's so I guess someone more experienced will have to guide me through it.

Scot, IMHO the combination of green & grey looks good for the Germans, and the light and dark green combination looks good for the Americans (not that I actually have a clue how AV7's were historically painted )
Also, I'd download the MGE patch for ToT and join in, but I still have some uni work to do

Yeah, I like those two also. I'll go with them.
I 'm still fairly clueless about PBEM games, but a couple of others that decided to play have done them in the past and promised to help those of us who are clueless. At leat it won't be the blind leading the blind.

PBEMS. pah
PBEMs are not this monster to be scared of. Right this is the quick and easy gary step to set up a PBEM.
1. You need MGE
2. You need to find out the game order
3. Then the first person on the list sets up the game.
4. Click on Multiplayer Game
5. Click on Internet Game
6. Click on Begin Scenario
7. Select Scenario
8. Make sure the show message at end of turn option is on
9. Play your turn
10. At the end of your turn press Ctrl N to end your turn definately.
11. Pass on the game to next on the list.
12. Repeat but instead of begin scenario click on load game.
There you go *bows*

I thought that it was harder then that
Are you sure that you didn't leave out the step that calls for the replacement of Windows with Linux, or the sacrafice of a goat?

Don't forget the sacrifice of your first born, Hitler's left testicle, and Rachel Hunter's thong.

I've fixed the problem. Seems that there were one too many events in the event file.
I haven't uploaded a new version yet though. I was sort of waiting until I finished the last two new fighter plane units (a Nieuport and a Sopwith Pup).

Does it breach protocol for a playtester to reveal the link or provide the files? I would love to check this out (although the next book is come and gone).
