Good news!
Farazh,
I did some looking around tonight, and I found 1 copy of MPG! Like before, it's $15 plus tax and the cost of shipping. I also found some copies of Test of Time, about 4 if I remember correctly. These are $10 each. Let me know what you want to do and I'll be glad to get either one or both if you prefer.

Sorry for the delay Rw. I hadn't been checking for a few days. Anyway GO FOR IT!!! Get the MGE copy right away. I will have the money sent to you immediately. And if you can, get the TOT also - just make sure that we don't lose the MGE again .

So 1 copy of MGE and 1 copy of TOT should come to $25 + tax. I'll send you $40 - that ought to cover it. Lemme know if its not enough.

Thanks

Andy - funny thing. While I was searching for MGE here, I found about 50 boxes of Civ 2 - fantasy worlds here. Of course it doesn't work without the original civ 2 so I couldn't even get that to at least be able to play against the computer. But it did drive me crazy to see these boxes which are obviously useless if we are unable to buy the main game which is unavailable here.

If you want the scenarios box only then let me know. It 'should' still be there.

For information: the 'Add-on discs' are:
  • Civilization: Scenarios - Conflicts in Civilization (CiC v2.52), and
  • Fantastic Worlds (FW v2.7.8)
Each contains a modified executable with more capacity for scenarios and a set of scenarios themselves. MGE contains all the scenarios, but its game engine's aggressiveness makes at least some of the scenarios less than playable ...

It's a done deal!
Farazh, I got it! I purchased MGE, as well as a copy of Test of Time. As soon as I receive your money I'll ship them out to your family. It's probably a good idea that you decided to get both MGE and ToT. I asked the clerk in one of the stores about ToT and he told me that no new copies were being produced any more (I'm sure the same goes for MGE). So, once the stores are empty, that's it!
