Which civs should be human controlled?
The readme (made by thunderfall) says that all three brittish civs should be human controlled, but thats obviusly not the case as the intro text says that the brittish army is AI controlled, which civ apart from the RAF should be controlled by me (if any)?

Only the RAF should be played by the human player. All the other civs are intended for AI control.

I playtested it and here's what I did:
a) Empty small cities.
b) Rush build 3.7mms in big cities (and also nearby cities and move them to big cities). Each big city should have at least 10 3.7mms fortified.
c) Disband spitfires and completed parts to build Sqn19 and Sqn303. This way each turn you'll have two super planes. Do not build other planes.
d) have a bleiheim on top of each Radar station and use Ctol-N to end your turn so the planes don't crash (I did this to save time. Otherwise I needed to rush build a plane and sent it out to stations 1, 2, 3, then let it crash -- time it so not all of your planes run out of gas at the same turn. Cost some money but should not be crucial).
e) Eastleigh has some completed parts. Move them to the Sqn303 city immediately.
f) Kill the German Aces at all cost.
g) sell most improvements. If you hire an entertainer in a size 4 city, you don't need any improvements.

The ReadMe was my doing i wasn't sure (not remembering what nemo first told me) what civs to play as, so i thought of Second Front and guessed that Nemo wanted all British Civs to be played as. I guess now I'll fix it today.

Hmm.. It's called Blitz.hot.scn
I am on a mac so extension doesn't make any difference to me, I was just wondering if I was supposed to play one or more civs (the name got me suspicious).

the blitz.hot.scn doesn´t make any difference to me either (and I have MGE) but its use could be what Grothgar said
that could be it
what is the purpose of the scn??
I have a version without a readme so I´ll download the new version, I was a little confused at first with all those units and cities

You keep your special units alive: generals in the 3 HQs, super marine, factory, etc. After part 4 you also need to protect other British civs' special units, like the parliment of London (Luftwaffe will not be at war with them at first).
Germany will get a tech for each of the above killed. Operation Sealion will launch if Germany gets enough techs. House rule is that you cannot disband those special units.
If you have successfully protected your special units, then you'll have a chance to counter attack (i.e., send bombers to France) in the last part.

It's a neat scenario so far but I'm trying to concentrate on my project before I lose interest again.
So just to clear this up... Am I only supposed to play RAF? Not the army and British civilian?

This is a really great scenario!! But there is one problem with the scenario, it only has 4 parts, when it has to have 7 parts to it. read the .bat flie to see what I mean! So in other words this scenario is not complete!

Well, it should have 9 parts. I have not played them all yet.

Sorry about that Xin Yu, I only counted the number of phases in the scenario, not the number of parts!
I'm on a Mac, so I thought that only the phases were the parts, in the .bat file.

Wow, haven't posted here in awhile... things sure are different...
Xin,
I played the Blitz awhile back as a playtester and I didn't find the radar stations to be all that helpful. Basically the computer will choose the plane rather than the station to defend and viola... all the units get killed.
I rather enjoyed this scen though. I was able to kill all 3 aces fairly quickly, then focus on protecting the factories and HQ's. I thought I was well defended untill later when the Germans kick into high gear, they cleared out some factories that had like 4 AA machineguns as well as a smattering of flak guns. Bam... all gone real quick.
BTW, does this edition have sounds? I am using a flak gun in Stalingrad and I could use to 'borrow' Nemo's sound file for it.

FMK: Use inferior planes on top of the radar stations. Those planes only have defense 6 so Radar stations will take the defense.
Four AA guns is not enough. At least 10.

Yikes...I was having a hard time just trying to rushbuy even defenses all around. I suppose you focused more on the southern factories and HQ? You always know how to max out your Civ. Amazing.

How do I build airplane parts? I can build the units with props etc, but I need to build the trucks carrying the parts... And boy is it tough getting a ship/convoy to a port building planes!!! I guess I better try leaving some spitfires on top of them each turn, but isn't that cheating? I do like this scenario from the little I've played it, a dogfighting scenario fills a niche. Now all we need are a couple scenarios for WWI and WWII naval warfare

You stock up the immobile 'parts', and when you load up the next phase of the game, they will all turn into the moveable trucks. Then you can take them to the bases and disband for producing planes.
As far as the ships go, once you wear down the Luftwaffe a bit, you'll be able to swing a few into port. It takes awhile though, for sure.

Well, I'm hoping to release my Battle of the Atlantic scenario soon...
Also, I've spotted a mistake in Blitz. The British don't call thier airbases Something AFB like the Americans. Instead British airbases are called RAF Something. (eg RAF Manchester, not Manchester AFB). Still, its hardly a major problem.
