For me it's running neck in neck within MGS2. They are flip flopping back and forth as my most anticpated games.

It's a third person sneaker/shooter, if I'm not mistaken. It's certainly not TBS. Perhaps this thread should have gone in the Other Games section.

Ontopic: I am still worried about Civ III out in 2001. I think it may be a mistake but they have been working on it a while. I wish they would think about changing the map look. It just doesn't look like it belongs in the 21st Century. But Civ III is my most anticipated game of this year.

Off topic: Is MGS2 going to come out this year? The first one was great. What about WarCraft III? This year?

Morrowind & Arcanum are top of my list but I do hope that between Moo3 or Civ3 there will be at least one really good strategy game to play this year.

thats a hard question, this year a lot of good 3's are coming out like Warcraft 3, Civilization 3, MOO3 (this year?). But also new games like Empire Earth...

But i think im half War3 and half civ3...

Grumbold has good taste.

Arcanum, then Morrowind, then Civ3. If MOO3 was coming out this year, it'd beat Civ3 also, but I'm still very excited about it, the others just are a bit closer to my dream games...

A preview for MOO3 listed its release date as "3 months after Civ3"

At least they're smart enough to not directly take on the 800-lb gorilla of 4X games straight out of the starting gate

I think I also read some guy from voodooextreme talk a tiny wee bit about it being developed.
