ancient, the guy said that there is talk on making starcraft 2, the team have been talking and discussing about ideas for it, but there's no confirmation that Starcraft 2 will be made, so thats why you dun hear it anywhere.
The team are just Thinking about it, but this was a while ago, so they may already be through the first stage: the ideas, etc
if blizzard said to everyone, "we're gonna make starcraft 2" even before they realise they can make starcraft 2, everyone will be disappointed if Blizzard decide not to make it.
but I am just letting u ppl know what I have read, and I am sure they will make it, it was a great game
