Will you buy Civ 3?
Look at this screenshot:

Supposing you had no other information about the game, would you buy it?

A question already asked. I think that the "me first" approach can't be any good for a customer: look, isn't as Civ III is a "lifesaver" product you need, no matter price and defect.
We can safely wait the second wave, with some more detail and enough preview to balance "diverted" point of view.
I'm too fat to play Guinea Pig, you know
Of course, if Firaxis will release a demo a couple of weeks before going Gold, may be I'll fall in love with the game early, so I'd rush to the shop

Why steal it? I will not steal any game. And why tell us you may steal the game.

We need a poll that asks: Why are you here if you are not going to buy Civ 3?
It would be interesting to find out why are those who will not buy Civ 3 here. Or is there such people. Does Apolyton have appeal to people who could be classified as non-civ 3 buyers?

what's interesting is that the typography on the pic looks just as bad as Civ II. even SMAC has very ugly typography and poor interface from time to time, though it isn't very dated. with all the success Firaxis's games have brought one could think they should afford to hire a decent graphic designer...
you almost get the feeling Sid does the typography in all his games himself...he seem to love outer shadow and hate anti-alias...

On the basis of the screenshot, no. but it makes me drool when I think about all the stuff that has been revealed about the gameplay.
I wouldn't buy any game just on a screenshot, knowing nothing else.
I'll preorder, but I'm a junkie.
