Comments about "The Homeworld"
Here you can take your best shot to disgrace verbally my story.
The stage is yours.
Edit:
Warning! This thread will spoil the story.

I guess no one would believe me if I told them I was planning a story along these lines? Anyway, good job Kass. Keep up the good work.

I wouldn't be insulted at all if you'd write something of the similar idea. Would be nice to have a different POV. But I wouldn't know about other's opinions...
Well, "the fast live", or something like that.

Since you've written more, I thought I'd write you a whole comment.
It is a very good story and I'm really impressed that you can write in English better than a lot of English people!
You have an interesting concept and the story is feasible too. I especially like the accurate future science because that always helps in science fiction, for me anyway.
Looking forward to more.
Alynzia.

Well I never liked that Star Wars -scifi where they could just about everything. And Star Trek has similar tendencies.
I'm balancing between two possible endings, a very surprisive one and a very "boring" one. I think I'll do the boring one and then smack the reader with the "suprisive" one after that. Stay tight!
I thought that the language would be a problem, but then I noticed that for one Finnish verb there are three English equals, so I guess it won't became too repeatitive.
There are plans for a part II of the story, which is of course early 'cause I haven't finished it yet.

Good Story.
Keep up the good work!
I love to see new writings in the AC section
...sorry that I don't have time to read every story however.

If anyone's interested, I'm going to write Part II. Maybe in a new thread, maybe in the old one. But "The Conclusion" is from now on only "Chapter Nine".

I'm glad you are going to write some more, cause I'm hooked on the story. I have to know what the Earthers are like.

They aren't gonna be that bad, I think... Heck, it's just forming up in my head. Gotta get some typing down.

Kassiopeia, Great stuff! I eagerly await the conclusion. Your writing is balanced, the characters easily identified with, and the plot is both believable and suspenseful.

This is seriously one of the best SMAC stories i ever read Its very interesting. this is the first SMAC story that actually cause a peticuliar feeling which i cannot identify with words, mainly when mentioned that the ISS Homeworld got shot down....very rare i get that feeling from a story/movie/etc.... you can say it also feels so outer limits like too

Outer Limits has been on air in Finnish television for a couple of months... I too can't sleep when Earth is accidentally whacked by human mistakes...
What you described is exactly what I sought after, and I'm glad I succeeded! I'm getting something alike to the end of Part II, which is REALLY the last part ever never
PS. The story is now finished, enjoy!

Kass, just finished reading the exciting and morbid conclusion! I liked the flip-flop back and forth between locations especially. you got mean at the end! Congrats on finishing this great story.
