Tai Mai Shu, it seems like it has been a while (4hrs) and still no sign of your game turn email; do you think it disappeared into the the Big Red Code?

Just to let you guys know. I am in Portugal (GMT +0) from Sunday night through Friday Night. I will still try to access my turns every night, but can't guarantee that. Probably the best thing to do is add a third email address (for the duration of next week only) and email to me there.
Use colindarra@hotmail.com and Colin.Darra@virgin.net
For that week only stop using my vistorm address.
Cheers
Colin
PS. If problems arise I will have a substitute on hand (by the name of SITS) to play my turns for that week. Details will be provided if he is required.

ColDark: Haven't used it yet, but been thinking about it; how is it?
Tai Mai Shu: FYI, it looks like it was your second send that got through; the first .... ?

MY 2106 to the Gaians.
Have I had a crap start or what!!!!!!!!!!!!
One Colony Pod eaten by worms, the other STILL picking its way to a safe area now finally on the edge of a major fungal bloom. Yes I still haven't built a base yet!
The Gaians would have had a field day here!!!!!!

Sorry about that, don't really know what happened to the first one. But I just noticed that I got an email from the postmaster saying it couldn't find the path to your address or something like that. But I'm pretty sure I had the address right since I used the address book and didn't hand type in John's email address.
Anyways, onward to the year 2106. Turn passed through treacherous waters in the internet.

Tai Mai Shu, I also have a hotmail account; as we may be having a similar problem on this round (its already over an hour), perhaps you could send the turn to me there as well. I don't generally use it as an incoming address since it has limited space and I don't usually check it a lot, but I will check it when I am expecting a turn from you and it hasn't arrived at the msn.com address.
That hotmail address is: JohnDMuller@hotmail.com (my main address is: JohnDMuller@msn.com). There seem to be some rough edges (to say the least) with msn lately because of that worm and/or some changes they are making to (supposedly) reduce spam. Since you are using hotmail that should make it faster to get to my hotmail account, (on the one hand, but on the other hand since they are both msn operations, it may not make any difference). Anyway, perhaps you could try using both addresses for me for a while (until things seem to stabilize anyway).
Thanks/Sorry/Whatever
John

Will do Next time I'll send the turn to both addresses. Btw, for some reason I managed to land in a spot of land with absolutely no fungus. It's kinda wierd because you guys are making me think the world is covered in the stuff except for my little spot of land

turn sent to peace. Wow, I just saw my first wormy.
Here's an odd question. Whenever I start, my icon just sits on my home base and its i have to do a few weird things to get it past it and let my other things go. does anyone else have this problem?

MY 2107 to the Hivernians.
As for no fungus, I spoke too soon I have a teensy bit of fungus just a stones throw away from my HQ, but it's not enough to make a worm farm or anything so no, no fungus isn't really a blessing or a curse but a mix of both.

turn 2108 to peace.
For tomorrow (Monday), I will be gone all evening so if I don't get the turn by 2pm EST I can't guarantee that I'll be able to get my turn out tomorrow. I'll try though. Its my anniversary and you know how wives can be.

Tai Mai Shu, AKIK, 2108 was the last turn I played and according to the posts was the year that Trevlix sent on; also, ColDark's post said that he was sending turn 2109, perhaps he named the file 2110 by mistake (sounds like he's having at least a lilttle trouble - too much sun, beach and partying no doubt. Anyway, I'm about to play it, so I'll find out what the game thinks it is; assuming it thinks it is 2109, I just name the files accordingly so that it will be back on track, just a little confusing for you and ColDark next time around, If the game thinks it's 2110, then we've had a time warp.
