Sid = Yin26 sounds like bull**** to me

If anybody is curious about my next project, just keep that in mind. I'm amazed nobody noticed.

Above sounds pretty much like bull**** to me.
If above is true (which it obviously isnt) then below criticism in THIS THREAD of his own Sid Golf project doesnt make any sense:

As for the "Sid Golf" project - I really dont see the problems here. Firaxis is a small company, and they must put their eggs in several baskets, to be sure. Developing a strategy-building game about Golf has never been done before, and Golf is afteral a very popular sport. The advertisment-possibilities in Golf-magazines are great. Although I dont enjoy Golf myself, I can easily see why investing time & money in such a project make good sense.

In a sense, they HAVE to have two games coming out just to cover the bills. This must by default create room for split personalities and intense "negotiations" as to what resource will go to what game.
It's this kind of 'overhead creep' that puts companies in do or die situations. Frankly, I think they should have stayed small and focussed. Less money made but much less money paid out. AND, I believe, that tighter and more dedicated small group dynamic would have produced potentially much better games, albiet released on a much slower pace.

Yin being Sid is obviously not true.
It's good to see you posting again Ralf.

It would be an amazing tale if yin really was Sid. I still don't know whether to believe it or not.
But why would yin pull a stunt like this if it wasn't true?

See Mark, when you closed the club threads, you get this instead.
I was shocked that anyone even thought there was a possibility it was true.
RAH
Arizona Ocean front property for sale. Anyone.

It's funny either way, but there's no way Yin is Sid.

Markos, after Golf I'm ready to believe in Disney.
And, I have to say there's no proof of Yin NOT being Sid. Markos, BTW, check his IP and make a tracert, curious results for me.

1) Yin has a dynamic IP
2) I didn't perform the trace to the end, somehow. Got stuck somehwere in Europe, didn't let me over the ocean. I'll try again later.

If he was Sid, he'd be located somehwere near Firaxis. Markos, when you see it, make the trace. Interesting.
I'll post results tomorrow, I think.

I don't believe it any more than you do, but it casts some doubt. If it traces back to the U.S., then Yin is lying and something is obviously up.

I didn't say Yin is Sid. I said that Solver implied that the trace died when trying to cross the ocean (I assume Atlantic here). Yin claims to live in Korea.

I said I thought it will cross the ocean, fi Yin is Sid. If he was Sid, he wouldn't live in Korea. Anyway, second trace is succesfull. And Ming, look here, at least half people believed it .

In that case, I'll buy, Ming. I'm looking for about 2 acres, with a little bit of sand for a private beach.
