Rasputin's past history is not well known. However Rasputin is currently spamming the Civ II and III sections with useful and useless ideas.
He also posts heavily in the Off-Topic and Apolyton/Community sections.
To "Pull a Rasputin" is to make 200 posts in one day or 1000 posts in a month even after a 300 PCR.

He is a fairly humorous poster.

My first introduction to EvC was when he was using the login Evan VonChristoph and announced in a thread that he was homosexual.

Well... after that colorful introduction I soon learned that he was one of Apolyton's legends! He had been one of the major spammers of 1999 and had joined Giant_Squid and Jasonian in Apolyton Micronationalism in the <a target="audenitor" href="http://pub6.ezboard.com/bain">Audenitor Independent Nation</a>- which was formerly called Apolyton Independent Nation, but, because MarkG and DanQ raised legal issues, the name was changed.
The AIN disbanded in late 1999 and EvC moved to the FIoJ "Flying Islands of Jasonia", but he soon became bored of Micronationalism and returned to Apolyton where he has since appeared at varying times... Mostly every 3 months (when the name change feature becomes active) he will change his name and post a lot.

He has been sighted at Sidgames.com and used to post a lot in the Alpha Centauri section there.

Later when he moved to Apolyton he spammed and was banned numerous times.

Fast_Eddie changed his name to ghen because

He left Apolyton after throwing a tantrum because all 9 DL's of his were discovered and banned and his login was banned for some length.
His only comment about Apolyton that I could solicit at CGN was

His time at CGN was breif. Lasting from November 2000 to Late December 2000 because he felt restrictive by the new rules imposed upon Off-Topic posters.
These new rules were crafted by the OT mods, DarkCloud and Sunday Mourning ("orange" at Apolyton) and Chris Wilkinson CGN's co-founder.

He wrote, for a time, in "The Chiron Chronicle" a series in the AC-Fiction section chronicling the AC factions' lives on Chiron.
He also posts in the "Apolyton" section on occasion.

In September he spoofed Urban Ranger's username and changed his name to Rural Ranger and elicted many laughs for his 'zany joke'

Description:
I first met Dracon when he was looking for a good name for his new rock music group... I'm not sure what he settled on, however.

Dracon owns a Civ II site that had some good material and a spam forum that is little used.
The forum even has a "Spam" section for people to purposely spam in. Paul Hanson overused that part of the forum and made over 99 topics with trash in them.
The site and forum are abandoned now.

In January 2001 he 'Transcended' and changed his name to Master Angel Bob and posted everything as if he was an agent of God... Perhaps he was... we may never know?

onepaul and myself did not get along well, but he did teach me an interesting thing; that I should not casually insult people. Through his insults I learned that I never wanted to be callous and not think about other's feelings.
I am not sure if onepaul meant to be insulting, hopefully he did not, however, he was a great teacher of how I should behave on Apolyton, and for that, I thank him.

I am Eroberer, and I've been Eroberer on here for almost three years now. I came here and argued with Red Trotskyite until I became a leftist, argued with Berzerker until I became a rightist, and gently settled back into leftism due to, I'm sure, the lack of proper libertarian posts around here now (or maybe 'cus I just don't read those anymore anyway). I long for the early days of Apolyton, in all honesty, although the middle era was great, too, even if I didn't post in it

I'm atheist, 5'10", blondish hair, blue eyes, resigned to philosophical skepticism, 18 years old, just finished advanced high school courses, going off to the Univerisity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill next year...

My real contribution could be having helped build Apolyton culture, while never really participating in it.
Or the enormous debates that gave Starchild something to do while sipping coffee in the morning, even though I blame myself for Porphyrogenitus's departure.

phoenixcager first appeared on Apolyton in the Off-Topic and Apolyton/Community forums and quickly became liked by many posters.
He has posted most everywhere on the Apolyton site, but his posts are lost because they are so well spread throught the forum.

phoenixcager recently stopped posting as much as he used to because he went on a vacation and then there were later complications.

He is also present on CivWorld and many other forums run by old Apolytoners.

On the Civilization Gaming Network (CGN) he was the most active poster, posting many useful threads and keeping CGN alive, he was eventually gifted with moderator ship of several forums at CGN, until it disappeared.

Description: Michael Jesczenka once had a great civ II site that I discovered in August 1999 while using the internet for the second time.
(The first time I used the internet was an AOL Free Trial... thus It really didn't count as 'using the internet' so much as 'Using AOL')
His website had in-depth historical scenarios and other goodies for Civilization II.

When I came to Apolyton's Forums for the second time in August 2000
(The previous time I visited Apolyton's Forums was May 2000, but I didn't want to register, so I couldn't read any posts

)
Well, when I first came to Apolyton and entered the OT I asked about Michael and heard that he left the forums after a messy argument with Giant_Squid.
Later however, I learned that he still lurked in the Apolyton forums as "Magyar Crusader", but I did not believe that Mark and Dan would allow a DL to roam free, so I did not contact him.

In December 2000 or so, his excellent Civ II website disappeared and I searched for Michael to try to contact him.
I found him on Master Angel Bob's website and attempted to talk to him; but he did not return to the forums there.

I joined the army to pay for college, among other reasons. . but i guess partly to pay for college. also used to post regularly in the CTP sections, until CTP came out and i found out that it sucked. lurk and occasionaly post in civ2 strategy, lurk and sometimes post in civ3-general, apolyton community, and s&d.

I’m mostly known for my Belgian chocolates (Colon’s Chocolates©) distributed by Dominikos in the rare occasions he’s present, although I sometimes give as a present on birthdays.
My greatest accomplishment is my longevity at Apolyton, although I wasn’t here yet when the site was born. Minor accomplishments are my contributions to the Suriname threads and the fact I was once 4th in the rank of post-count. However, my position has decayed ever since, so I’ve decided to support abolishing PC’s as consolation.

Actually what better way to get this information.

If you had put out a form and asked people to fill it out, I'm sure it would have received the appropriate response (almost nill).

But by doing it this way. People's egos will take over and it becomes a must read. Which will lead to a lot of us (those that still post) submitting corrections/embellishments
