Change goal, lose research
I've been playing the MedMod II (and loving it ) and have noticed a bug, I think. I suspect its an EXE issue, not a mod issue, but here goes anyway.

If I change my research goal (from the GL screen), any progress I have made toward my current advance is wiped out . In fact, the advance actually changes to something in the tree of the goal. Note that I am not actually trying to change the advance I'm researching, just the goal I'm working toward.

Anyone else seen this? I never noticed it before I played the MedMod.

Obviously, to avoid this, I try to remember to only change my goal right after I pick a new advance to research.

Cheers.

No, I was not aware of that. Glad you pointed it out. Just the thing - spend 20 turns going for something and lose it all becuase you shift goals.

This is like that bug with disbanding units. Do it from the units own options panel and you get the production points assigned to the cities current build que. Do it from within the units tab of the city screen, and you've just flushed those points.

I found that out in my second game. All that housekeeping was wasted.
