I voted "other", but I meant that many features is just as good and its hard to prioritize them in any particular order.
Culture, Trade, resources, the way economy and resources are linked with warfare, and (if the AI can andle it) diplomacy, and so on.

Alex you sure do post a lot of polls. What multiplayer options would you be talking about? The ones they aren't ready to discuss?
I would also have to say other for the same reason Ralf did. It's all good.

Is that more difficult than to strike new paths, fighting the habitual, experiencing the insecurity of independence and the frequent wavering of one’s feelings and even one’s conscience, proceeding often without any consolation, but ever with the eternal goal of the true, the beautiful, and the good? - F.N.

All of the Above!
When I read the newest preview today I was impressed by all of the new changes and improvements they are adding to the game. There's nothing I like more than anything else but perhaps the culture and diplomacy is a little more exciting.

I voted for culture, but there are really quite a few nice features in civ3. I guess I'll have to play it before I can really judge. You also seem to have left out resources. Resources will have some big effects on the way the game plays, they deserved their own category.

I voted on culture, but I would have voted on more of the available options if possible. It's just so much good in this game!!!

I'm kind of dissapointed with Civ III. The game is way too conservative and doesn't have enough improvements. Anyway, I'll say culture is what I'm looking forward to right now.

I assume Resources is under "New Trade System"? I voted for that based on that assumption.

Yeah. So did I, it adds more depth to the game, and makes 'trade embargo' a decent threat.

I voted 'other', thinking of all of the new things relating to resources. From what I have gathered: 1) they aren't visible until you have discovered the technology that would make them worthwhile, 2) they can be accessed even while they are outside a city's "sphere of influence" via roads and colonies, 3) they become critical to the production of certain units and/or city improvements, and 4) they become an integral part of the trade system, in turn having a significant impact of the diplomacy aspect of the game.

I voted culture, in the hope that it will do as promised, and make it much harder to conquer enemy cities. CII didn't go far enough with partisan units.

I hated partisan units and thought they were very unrealistic. I hope they're excluded

I think you're referring to me. Unfortunately Alew 14 and I are not the same person. Apologies to Alex14 if you've lately been posting a lot of polls.

They were unrealistic and should be modified.

REALLY tough choices here. . i'll have to really see how well culture is implemented before i make judgements on it yet. . but it's VERY promising. .
likewise, the new trade system has GREAT potential, and some very interesting ramifications, if done right. .
likewise, the new ways to win (again, if done right) could really broaden the different ways to experience the game. .
i went with the new ways to win in the end, but i could have just as easily gone with the other two i mentioned. .
and then. . if diplomacy is done right. . wow, it could really be something. .
and then. . if they add all those cool bits of atmosphere from civ1 and heap on the statistics so i can see the glory of my civilization from every angle. . that would also be very nice. .
gosh. . so MUCH to look forward too. .
when is this game coming out again?
