civ II - change of language
I have CIV II in the German version. Since the translation is very lousy I would like to change it to the English version (the English files are all in the program), however I don't know how to achieve this. Can anybody help me?

Thank you very much indeed. I already forgot about the good old DOS, however the descriptions in Civilopedia are still in German although I have copied all *.pde to *.pdg and wordlist to germlist.
Any solutions for this - admittedly small - inconvenience?
Best regards.

hmm.. another possibility might be changing the language in the civ.ini in your windows diretory... there should be an option to switch it (say from 2 to 1 or so)
do you know when the first setting of that number is done? during the installation! you could also remove civ2 from your system and reinstall it, choosing english as the language
