Time to think about a new FIRAXIS Interview?
Congrats' with Apolyton, Markos and Dan!!

While we're in this good mood, wouldn't it be a good idea to start THINKING about a new Firaxis Interview?

Here's a list of questions, I've just made up.

1. How's the AI coming along? Can it handle the new Trade/ Culture/Strategic Resóurces?

2. Exactly, which civs are going to be in Civ3?

3. How old are the new GameSpot screenshots?

4. Will you be able to win by launching a spaceship to Alpha Centauri?

5. When will the game end? 2020, 2500 or something else?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any suggestions, wanna flame me , something you want to remove?

Almost certainly. It wouldn't be much of a game if the AI couldn't handle them at least a little bit.

We have a reasonably good list of these that we figured out on our own (thanks for your effort Locutus and others). There are only a few spots left that we are unsure about.

MONTHS old, as Jeff (I think, might have been another god) told us

Yes

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe that it is 2020-ish. The actual year has been confirmed, but I don't remember it offhand.

Great interview! Ask me your questions anytime, hetairoi22.

In all seriousness, though, I would like to see another interview with some new, exciting information.

Here's some questions for the next interview:

- Please explain the new combat system. Please explain how armies will fight each other. Please provide screenshots.

- How many unique units are there per civ? How much more powerful are they versus the standard variety of that unit (F-15 vs normal fighter, etc.)?

- Will there be an earth map included in the game? Will resources be realistically scattered on that map? Will you include a Map of Planet from SMAC (not sure who owns the rights to that one, Firaxis or EA)

- As there is an map and scenario editor in the game, will there be an animated or 3D unit editor? Will mods be able to change the animated leaders and advisors with still pictures?
