Interludes Missing from the Game?
After I installed IMACX, I had one new interlude, the one for the Borehole Cluster.
It appeared once.
I never saw it again.
Now that I opened up interlude.txt, I found more (like the one for the manifold nexus, etc).
Any idea why these aren't playing for me?

Just have to make sure: You are going to the center square in both places? The interludes only trigger on one square.
If you are, that is indeed very odd. The interludes are called up by the main game engine, so there isn't a text hack for accessing what triggers them, just for their contents.

I play this game every day.
I've been over the whole map, a whole lot of times.
It's only triggered once, and never had the Temple ever trigger.

you have to go in the tile that has the words in it. plus there are all sorts of interludes for the aliens. first contact with the aliens, first alien base captured, first base you lost to the aliens, and a whole bunch more when you ARE the aliens

I get normal interludes.
I don't get the Two Special Region Interludes.
This is regardless of what tiles I move my units onto.

Do interludes turn off if you play a game as a scenario? I set up specific faction starting places on a map with the standard game set-up and starting techs (instead of letting that damn random generator, what a pain in the...) Yet during the game, I never saw one interlude, also, there were no pauses for monument items, even though on the options menus both were turned on. Is this normal?

I've only played Alpha Centauri for several days, and I like the interludes. Can someone please enlighten me what the center square and the squares with text are?

you need the patch if you don't have it. i'm saying this because you say you've only been playing a few days and you may not know it exists. www.alphacentauri.com . if you do have the patch, then you need to find the landmarks manifold nexus and borehole cluster, and move a unit into the square that says borehole cluster or manifold nexus.
