Music from City celebration
Ok, this my be an easy question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. What is the name of the classical piece that is played when your cities celebrate????? I lost my Civ. II CD-ROM, so I can't even get a hint at what it is.

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Thanx

I think it's "Ode to Joy".

yeah, i was thinking that walls should be made obsolete...

I was actually thinking to make a mod of modern warfare with no walls, to encourage people to build fortresses and fortify units on hills and forests OUTSIDE cities, as it was done IRL for a long while.

that's the title of it in the CD, and it's common name...

I think it's one of Beethoven's symphonies. (part of)

It's the chorus from Beethoven's ninth symphony which appears in the fourth and last part of that symphony. The text is from Schillers Ode an der Freude (Ode to Joy)

That is: the text the chorus sings in the Symphony. The civ version, of course has no text
