Unit I think should be in the game and be fun to use

I thought of a really cool idea for a realistic unit. Before you get the nuclear missle, you should get an atomic bomb. You would have to load the bomb on a plane (bomber) and than take it to its target. I think this would be a great idea because before nuclear missles, this is all you had. I tried my idea in Civ2, but the only way I got it to work was if I got rid of the default nuclear missle and I had to give it a movement rating of two (I tried one, but my plane was destroyed in the explosion

. The other problem I had was I had to give the plane that carried the bomb the ability to carry air units, so I had a bomber/aircraft carrier

This has been mentioned before in previous threads but yes it would be more realistic.

Development of rockets took place pretty much at the same time as the atomic bomb. I've no problem with extra units but this one ought to be pretty short lived.

I read somewhere else on ACS that there will be a few different missile types. Now that will be realistic. Start with a short-range missile and work up to ICBM.
