How can I hook 2 computers for multiplayer?

Hi. This is my first post to a forum.

I want to play Civ 2 Gold at home on two computers - multiplayer game. Can we use a null modem?

Also, is ther any other inexpensive way to connect two computers at a home location?

I've tried playing Hot Seats games with my husband and I hate the fact that the computer handles my diplomacy and doesn't do what I would do.

You could hook up some sort of LAN.........go to the general help forum and I'm sure someone will be able to help

If you running Windows 98 SE or Windows ME then setting up a LAN is quite simple jsut need a cheap Network card and the Cable. Go see a local Computer store and they should be able to help. Is not very expensive for the pieces.
