Sounds like an interesting experiment and you're past the halfway mark. Has it made a difference in your life? Has it been easy? What do your friends and family think? Do they even notice? Do you think you will start drinking pop again after Jan. 28, 2002?

Actually it has made a difference in my life. I actually have more energy, I spend less money, I drink a lot more water, it's good for working out, and it makes certain occasions difficult. Such as going to a party, pizza place, etc... Everybody thinks it pretty amazing how I"m able to do it but my brother teases me all the time by drinking pop in front of me on purpose. I think I will start drinking pop again after that date but I won't drink nearly as much as I used to. Who knows maybe next time I might go for two years. Nevermind I'm not going to go two years without pop. Even though, it's fairly easy. Just try to find an alternative drink such as Gatorade, juice, Frutopia, etc... Sometimes you start to get really tired of water after having to drink it all day in order for you to drink something. I've only had about 5 really bad urges to drink pop but I was able to overcome them. Thanks for your interest in it by the way.

However, it is difficult to believe that 2 times 2 does not equal 4; does that make it true? On the other hand, is it really so difficult simply to accept everything that one has been brought up on and that has gradually struck deep roots – what is considered truth in the circle of moreover, really comforts and elevates man? Is that more difficult than to strike new paths, fighting the habitual, experiencing the insecurity of independence and the frequent wavering of one’s feelings and even one’s conscience, proceeding often without any consolation, but ever with the eternal goal of the true, the beautiful, and the good? - F.N.
