History of the World 2.2 - V (Cuz 2 just wasn't big enough)

... War reigns supreme in the Ural mountains as the last struggle of the Second World War rages between the European Union and the Union of Asian States. The peace treaty signed between the EU and Federation of Democratic Provinces was seen as many as an end of this long and bloody struggle, however this doesn't seem to be the case. Asian and European artillery continue to exchange blows in the Ural Mountain ranges as floods of refugees from the European cities of Orsoni and Savona continue to pour accross the FDP Province of Khazakstan. There is no end in sight.

In the latest turn of events the Second World War may recieve a refurbishment as Zulu Federation Chairwoman Jula Kamma threatens to broker a "Peace Keeping" mission against the UAS if their relentless assault against the European Union continues, the allies of the UAS, Australia, have now spoken up and are supporting the Asian offensive, threatening a possible reunion of the Pacific Pact and an escalation of a war thought by many to be on its last legs...

What will occur? Nobody can say for sure. This is the History of the World....

The following is a listing of the nations and their leaders, as well as the new names and flags of these nations. This latest version (2.2) was released in order to more accurately portray the geopolitical situation in this game. You may download the latest version by clicking HERE.

- The European Union (The Capo). Formally known as the Adriatic League, the Union formed following the peace treaty signed with Israel (now the FDP) which turned over all Adriatic colonies to the FDP and officially reformed the European Union with its capital in Berlin. Currently the EU is emblazoned in a bloody struggle with the UAS in attempts to recapture its province of Uralsky form invading UAS forces.

- The Zulu Federation (Drake). The Zulu Federation has historically been one of the world's most dormant nations, however in the years following the demise of the Axis Alliance the Zulus have taken a stronger policy towards other nations, especially those that threaten peace in the Western Hemisphere. After becomming Communist and taking a large stand in the many wars that occured in the Sahara desert the Zulu Federation is now allied with the EU and has most recently stated it is prepared to take peace keeping efforts against UAS forces.

- Federation of Democratic Provinces (Rasputin). Formally known as Israel, this nation has been one of the most tumultuous nations in recent history. With many wars under its belt in a short period of time it has shown that while Israel was historically a non-factor, times can indeed change. Having just signed peace with the European Union the FDP has gained an enormous amount of cities now owning colonies in Mexico, the Missisipi and Florida as well as new territories in Central Asia this nation has risen from nothingness to prominance under its Socialist Regime.

- The Mali Nation-State (Belinda). Currently allied with the Federation of Democratic Provinces, the Mali have seen their glory days long ago with the fall of the Axis Alliance. In recent years they have been engaged in many wars against the Adriatic League as well as Israel until finally settling into their current position. While allied with the FDP, they haven't been as blatant about fighting wars and have generally taken a more moderate approach than they have historically. With a strong base in Africa and colonies in America just waiting to be developed this nation is very much a player and has a very good chance of effecting the balance of power.

- The People's Republic of China (Prometheus). Without question the most neutral nation in the game, China is a very large and varied country. Siberia, Manchuria, Korea, Japan, Borneo and most of Western North America compose of this gigantic nation. With its Capital in Hawaii ruling its Communist Regime talk has spread of a possible change from its historic Communist powerbase to a new more Democratic nation. China is possibly the only nation right now that could be deemed a "wildcard" and would be a major player if it decided to be at any time.

- Australian Democratic Union (Deity). In recent years the ADU has taken a quieter approach to world events, and who can blame them? They are easily the most successful nation in the entire world, with a huge army at their disposal and an amzing Economy this nation can literally change the course of any conflict at will. Historically Australia has been the masterminds behind the dominant Pacific Pact. However in the recent course of events the Pacific Pact has all but split apart. With the ongoing struggle in the Ural mountains between the UAS and EU could Australia again have to show its might to the planet? Only one man knows for sure...

- Union of Asian States (Dangime). Formally known as Mongolia, this has to be one of the most extensive and diverse empires in the world. Owning nearly all of the Asian Supercontinent, the UAS intends on expanding that territory into EU controlled Russia and is continuing its invasion of the Ural territories. While the UAS or Mongolia has never been the major player it could have been throughout history its power and influence can never be counted out. Recent events have made the UAS a much more important factor which could lead to the revival of the once-dominant Pacific Pact.

So those are the new nations of HOTW2, this is where all in-game posts should occur and no others, there is a seperate section for any and all OOC posts. So please only post in-game stories and reports in this section. Well guys, let's tell the greatest story ever told...

The History of the World...

Dublin, Ireland; European Union...
"Hey Mick" said Tommy the bartender as he whiped a mug clean "I thought you were getting shipped out to Moscow today."

"Yeah, Tommy" said Michael Collins "I'm off to fight the Asians." he said as he took a seat at the bar, it was near empty save an old man and a married couple.

"What can I get ya Mick?" asked the bartender.

"Draft beer, a nice dark Irish one." he said as he threw some gold coins on the bar and looked up at the television moniter. "Look at that, that's so fuggin 'orrible."

"What's that Mick?" asked the bartender as he carefully poured the beer.

"The refugees in Uralsky, herded like fuggin cattle." he said staring up at the moniter "Its terrible ya know?"

"Yeah I hear ya Collins, that's what you're going for I suppose." said Tommy as he slid him the beer.

"Slainte" Collins said as he raised his mug and took a nice gulp "Slainte Maethe." he then bowed his head looking into his beer.

"You alright Mick? You seem pretty bad?" asked Tommy, pouring himself a drink.

"I don't know, ever since I told Sharon that I was leaving she's acting like its my fuggin funeral. Might as well be, I've heared stories of the Asians, they're horrible." he said.

"Well you're a tough man Mick, you'll show them chinks wot' its like here in Eire wontcha!" he said as he smiled and smacked Michael on the shoulder. He didn't react. "Lord in heaven son, look atcha!"

"I know Tommy, I'm not mah'self lately." he said sipping his beer.

"When are ya called ta' port son?" asked Tommy looking at his watch.

"Five." said Mick as he took another swig of beer.

"You've got thirty minutes ya know, it'll take ya longer to get there unless you haul ass." he replied.

"Wel alright, let me finish my beer Tommy." said Michael as he took another gulp.

"Just go lad, take the mug..."

To the Zulu Union and European Union Foreign Affairs Office
We have become aware of your threats concearning the current war with the European Union. However, these threats were not accompanied with anything more than vauge demands. The United Asian States are not opposed to bringing peace to this region, however we do not respond well to threats and any escalation from allies of the European Union would only result in more former Pacific Pact allies joining the war, not peace. The rescent activities of the Zulu's have brought considerable tension on the fresh peace between the European Union and the Israeli, even to the point that it may collapse.

Lord Dangime proposes the following. An immediate cease-fire with a peace treaty reconizing the current territorial situation. This is the only peace treaty that the UAS will reconize. In the case you find this unacceptable the war will continue. Any attack by the Zulu Union risks bring both Israel and Australia into the war, and a permanent occupation of the European Union as well as blockades and assaults against the Zulu Union by coalition nations. Lord Dangime and the heads of state of the allied nations eagerly await your responce.

EU Diplomatic Transmission...
State Department of the European Union
Honorable Carlos Luis-Hidalgo
1712 Dove Avenue
Amsterdam, Netherlands

TO: Lord Dangime of the Union of Asian States
FROM: The Honorable Carlos Luis-Hidalgo, Secretary of State

Dear Sir,

We are not making any demands of the Union of Asian States, on the contrary this is what should occur. Our request that the province of Uralsky be returned is a fair request. At no point did the European Union ever rule out any just compensation for this territory, at no point did we ever demand it without understanding that our nation is currently being defeated.

Uralsky is an ethnic European province, it is one of our sovreign states with representatives in Parliament and is under such laws that it can not be broken up. Your government fails to realize that we will never end war until this province is free again. That is the situation we are in at this time. I understand yours, it is hardfought land and men died for it, but this is a situation that we can not look away from or accept. So we can either make an ulterior deal or we can continue to fight until the province is liberated, at which point it will be your decision. The European Union is not interested in conquest, we are merely trying to liberate our citizens.

There is the possibility that the state of Uralsky could be partitioned, but there is no possiblity of total loss here, it would be uncalled for if we were to allow one of our sovreign states to simply be ceded to a foreign nation, especially against its own free will. Therefore we can not accept your terms of peace.

I will personally discuss the issue with Prime Minister Pagniacci and Parliament, however promises can not be made. There is the chance that part of the province, including the city of Savona, could be offered however again, I am merely an agent of the Executive, a body which does not have jurisdiction over this matter.

We await your response, and hope that the Pacific Pact can understand that the only thing the European Union wishes for is peace. Thank you for your time.

C. Luis-Hidalgo
(Secretary of State)

Helsinki, Findland; European Union...
The port city of Helsinki was covered in snow, with a faint drizzle of freezing rain in the air. Micheal Collins stepped off of the Transport vessel and pulled his duffle bag upon his shoulder. There were many troops walking arond, mostly Eurokorps soldiers, but some of which Marines and artillery captains. He slowly approached the barrack officer "Hello sir." he said as he handed over his papers.

"Eurokorps?" asked the officer.

"Yes sir, from Ireland, private Collins." he replied as he extended his hand, the officer merely glanced down at it.

"Private, Collins was it? You are a Eurokorps soldier, you do know what that means right?" asked the officer.

"Yes sir, it means I'll be liberating Uralsky from the Asian scum, sir." said Collins.

"Heh, well, not exactly. It means you are a grunt, it means you'll be toiling under the command of that spoiled brat DeNucci, that's what it means, frankly I don't think this is wise. Here is your slip you are in bunk 17." he said as he ripped the paper off and filled in the information.

"Is-"

"Bunk 17 is over on your far left, third from the left. Enjoy your stay at camp Helsinki, in a week you'll be cannon fodder." he mock saluted Collins and moved on to the next person in line.

Collins slowly made his way down the gravel path towards bunk 17, unkowingly walking right by General Adriana Alessi and his soon to be Commander Antonio DeNucci...

"The newbies look like pansies!" said DeNucci scoping out the line coming off of the ship.

"I'm sure you can work them into shape Tony, we'll be moving the next wave towards Moscow in one week, I hope its sufficient." she said.

"One week, Jesus, you might as well send them now. Not much can be done in a week, God look at that fat bastard. What do they do, pick anyone?" he said.

"Do you know how many are arriving?" she asked, ignoring his question.

"Last I heared 200,000, but those numbers could be skewed, you never know with this beuraucrats." he said as he lit a cigarette.

"Well, all we can do is hope for the best, this could turn into a bigger conflict quite soon. The Zulus and FDP are still squabbling in Sudan, Australia is making waves as far as Asia goes. The world is going to sh*t Tony." she said with a sigh.

"Wow, did you just realize that?" he said shaking his head.

"Well I don't know, I suppose I should get to Moscow soon, I hear General Franco is heading in that direction, now that the Balkans have been secured."

"Secured? Are you serious?" he said as he exhaled his smoke "You never know what the hell is going on anymore, there's no respect for a treaty, no bond, no honor anymore. Look at these kids here, they're boys. They didn't want to go to war Adriana, this is ridiculous. This is what we've succumed to, this!" he said.

"Hey Tony, relax" she said as she put her hands on his shoulders "You really have to, these boys are the only thing that can save our country right now, you've gotta get them ready Tony, in all seriousness, this is life and death."

"I just can't take it, you know? I mean this isn't what the armed forces are all about, these men don't want to be here they are forced to be here, but the sad part is we need them. The whole situation f*ckin sucks. It just does." he said throwing his cigarette on the ground and stomping it out.

"Well, I need to get back to Moscow before Franco arrives, he's gonna have my head on a plate, he really is. Tony, listen, you'll do alright, just let them know that this entire country depends on them, they have to know that they are needed, that they aren't taken for granted." she said.

"Yeah okay, I know. I'll see you in a week." he said, she then began walking away "Adriana."

"Yes?"

"What happened to us?" he asked.

"It wasn't anything Tony, I'm sorry, I can't be involved in that, I just can't." she said.

"You still love him, huh?"

"Yes Tony, I will always love Artie..." there was a long silence.

"Well, you better get going, ya know, don't want to piss off Frank." he said pulling out a cigarette.

"Keep yourself together Tony, you're a good man." she said as she waved and began walking away, he sat there and saw three privates walk past.

"Hey homos! Yeah you!" he said as they turned "Go get me some ST-1s on the double!!!!"

Responce from the UAS Foreign Affiars Department Reguarding European Union
Thank you for your swift responce to our correspondance. It is with regret that I inform you that Lord Dangime has declined to view any treaty that involves the release of Ural Region territories to the European Union. Lord Dangime stated that continued Mongolian presence in these regions are required to insure the security of the whole of Mongolia. He adds that your stance of not agreeing to the status quo offer sets a deadly double standard, while keeling to the terrtorial demands of the FDP you seek to undercut the brave warriors of the the UAS who are no less determined or less capable to create futher havoc, although Lord Dangime sees this as unneeded bloodshed. The UAS has no economic interest in occuping the Urals or any other EU territory, our interests are solely a securtiy issue. Lord Dangime has given me the authority to offer payment of 300 gold for our presence in this minor territorial region for Mongolian security. This would end the war between us and guarentee that futher territorial losses on part of the EU could be avoided. Futher losses on both sides will only make peace more difficult when the time comes. On a final note Lord Dangime wishes to remind you that you have been defeated in the current threater and not to understimate the Mongolian ability to make war. To do so would be a great mistake.

Kazakstan Province - Hospital
"Doctor! We need more bandages and sutures over here"

"Nurse just make do with what you got, therre is no more left!!"

The stench of fresh blood and rotting flesh filled the ward as it did the whole Hospital. The wounded stretched for 100's of metres out nto the parking lot too. The retreating civilians from the Urals had been cut off by the Asians and were now being cared for by the kind citizens of Kazakstan. Make shift tents were being assembled along the Caspian Sea to house all the refugees.

"This is beyond a joke" said the Night shift Janitor washing down another spilalge of blood." Will there ever be peace in the world?"

"Not till we exterminate those flippin Asians," responded one of the wounded from a bed.

"They are not so bad, we have been friends with them for centuries"

The pateient spat blood " I curse their whole nation, and your too if you are friends of them"

"You curse us too? But we have taken you in" said the perplexed Janitor

"Ahh for centuries the israelis waged war agaisnt us and you expect us to forgive and forget after a few lousy years.?" He coughed and spluttered.

"I think we al lneed to trust esch other more."

"Never you imbecile, never trust the Asians. Look how they treat us"

"Yes very sad." said the janitor and shuffled off, The grief was way beyond his ability to cope.

"Heil Georing!!"

"Heil Georing"

"Reich Chancellor, have you any plans for stopping the bloodshed to our north east. The amount of refugees filling our border citys is becoming overwhelming"

"Yes Field Marshall, it is a waste of resources. It seems to me the sticking point between the two combatants is that the Europeans want their two Ural States back ,and the Asians beleive they need them for their security."

"Exactly Reich Chancellor"

"I think I have a proposal that may end this. I will send word to both Nations"

"What is your plan ?"

"I propose that the two Ural States of Europe be retruned. And to prevent and European ingress into Asia, we wil lagree to station Peace Keeping troops between the two Nations. From West of Orsoni to Krygyzstan. We will not allow either side to cross the no go zone."

"Ahh very good plan Reich Chancellor, but what is in this for the FDP?"

"Regional Security and World peace Field Marsholl. After all these are the two most important things to all our peoples."

"Yes sir"

"Have my Secretary right to both leaders with our proposition"

"Immediatly sir"

"Word has arrived from the Europeans Jula, regarding the Mongols. You're not going to like this." said Captain Taliq.

"Out with it captain, I have no time to waste." said Kamma, with a look of understanding. She wasn't surprised.

"The Mongols have denied the return of the Ural region cities to the Europeans. They have offered a small settlement to the EU, but it is an offer that is far from acceptable." Taliq stated.

"I am not surprised Uhn. The Mongols are a bunch of greedy, land grabbing barbarians. They are un-civilized. God, why must they be so difficult? The once proud nation of Europe is now the most pathetic nation on the globe. They have been picked apart, and been used as a scapegoat for as long as I can remember. They still talk a good game, but they have taken devastating hits to their empire in recent years. They need the cities they have lost in war to be returned. It is essential for their re-building process. Though the Europeans may resent it, we must for the time being, be their guardian. We must help them to recover, and the only way they'll ever do this is if we get the Mongols to give them some breathing room." Kamma was relaxed.

General Shakeem spoke up:
"You are of course correct Jula. The Europeans are an honorable nation and they have been wronged. We are their allies and we must help them. The Mongols know they cannot match our nations strength and if we attack, they may call to Australia for help. It is hard to gauge what Keating might do, but we know him to be a fair man. After all, we have no beef with the Australians. We have always been good friends, ever since we colonized South America together. We will attack Mongolia, and if the Aussies should enter the fray, so be it. Righteousness is on our side Jula. Despite any propoganda floating around in other places of the world, we are a force for the good of mankind."

Kamma nodded:
"Indeed Shakeem. The Mongols know our stance. The choice is theirs. Either they un-conditionally return both Ural provinces to the EU, or we will be forced to make our move. It's very simple."

Shakeem agreed:
"Very simple indeed Jula. Well, the captain and I must be going. We must head to the Somalia base. It looks as though we must prepare some soldiers for war."

Letter to Western Nations...
State Department of the European Union
Honorable Carlos Luis-Hidalgo
1712 Dove Avenue
Amsterdam, Netherlands

TO: The nations of Mali, Zulu and the FDP.
FROM: Prime Minister Enzo Pagniacci.

Dear friends of the West. As is public knowledge our various homelands have been ravaged by a long and drawn out war. One which still continues to this very hour in the Ural mountain range. While the end of aggression is now the reality in our hemisphere, prosperity is not. Nations such as Mali still have no running electricity, areas such as the Balkans, central Europe, the Caucus Mountains, Saudi Arabia, the Sahara, Turkey, Sudan, and North America have been decimated by artillery exchanges from our various nations.

It would do us all well to discuss these pressing issues, as well as some recent international developments. I await the hopefully forthcoming responses of your nations as we should convene in one of our great cities of the west, Jerusalem, Timbuktu, Zimbabwe and Berlin would all be proper locales for this historic event.

Thank you for your time.

E. Pagniacci
(Prime Minister)

Dear Enzo,

The Zulus are very anxious to get such talks under way, and yes we are even willing to sit down to negotiate with the FDP. We are ready to put aside our petty differences. There is no need for another westerner to die. I suggest En Nahud as a location to meet for it's central location in the region.

May I also suggest that the Chinese be invited Enzo, as they could be a helpful ally in containing Mongol aggression. Surely they cannot approve of their barbaric neighbors practices. If kept discrete, I believe the Chinese would atleast come to hear what we all have to say. They have stayed quiet too long as well. They must have an opinion about something, and we for one, are very curious to find out what it is.

We will anxiously await your reply as well as the reply of the other leaders. We hope to hear that things in the Urals will be resolved soon. Take care.

Jula Kamma
Czar, Zulu Nation

"So what do you make of Enzo's latest communication"asked the rEich Chancellor of his Foriegn Affairs minister.

"It would appear that he is wishing to see the Western ALliance Formed which we spoke of many years ago."

"But we cant possible ally with a Communist nation, and I doubt they would ally with a Fascist nation like ours."

"Sire things are changing, this is for our mutual benifit, i would advise to attedn this conference in Zululand and to seek what we can that may benifit all of the FDP."

"Can we trust them?"

"No sir I dont think we can , but we dont have to , it can still be of benifit to us to atttend and hear their offers"

"But we are allied to the Asians, the EU seeks an alliance to destroy the Asians. We dont turn our backs on our allies. Never"

"Sir surely the betterment of the nation as a whole is at stake here. What hav ethe Asians done for us lately, have they aided our scientific research at all, no. "

"But still we are a loyal nation my friend, we do not turn our back on allys like the Australains did to us centuries ago. The Asians stood by us after the Australains deserted us."

"Only in word sir , only in word, the Asians are more technologically advanced than we are, yet their scientists never visit our shores to speak of things."

"Yes this is true. However before attending the Zulu conference I must speak to Dangime regarding his lack of Scientific support"

"Very well sir, but I urge you to make more firends than just the Asians. With the Austrlaians being against us at present we are small compared to them."

"Ahh my dear friend, you speak of Paul, but what if Saul were to take over, Saul is an Israeli name, surely he msut have lkinks back to our same heritage. His wife surely is. If a change occure there after 5500 years of Tyrannicla Paul leadership, we may gain closer relationswith Australai too."

"Wishful thinking sir "

"you will see"

Euronews Special Report: Conflict in the Urals...

Lana Aguilera: Eurokorps soldiers lie in wait for the next Mongolian offensive as conscripts continue to be pulled from western Europe in defense of the province of Uralsky. Hello I am Lana Aguilera and this is a Euronews special report; Conflict in the Urals.

Piero Scarboni: It has been nearly decades since the first shots were fired between Israeli and Adriatic soldiers, now many years lader the UAS and EU continue the trend...

Soldier 1: I've been out here in the Urals for a while, started out in Orsoni but we were pushed back here by the Mongols, there's been this sorta stalemate ya know? One day its gonna break, all hell's gonna break loose.

Soldier 2: I just want to get home.

Piero Scarboni: I just want to get home he says, there seems to be no end in sight. Today in the studio we have Carlos Luis-Hidalgo, the Secretary of State. Good evening Secretary Luis-Hidalgo.

Luis-Hidalgo: Good evening Piero.

Piero Scarboni: The question on everyone's mind is the discussion, the dialogue between the UAS and Union officials. Does it even exist?

Luis-Hidalgo: Certainly it does. Obviously it would be better if it were more open, but since Freitzweitter died its been a bit more fruitful. Actual discussion of peace were mentioned, but both sides are still very assured that they are in the right here. Its a tough situation no doubt.

Piero Scarboni: What, if anything, is the current stance of Parliament on the issue?

Luis-Hidalgo: Parliament is dead set against anything that would hand over Uralsky. There's just no division there, the Doves want half the province to be ceded to the UAS in order to end the war, the Hawks believe that we should continue until all of Uralsky is finally returned to the EU.

Lana Aguilera: Mr. Luis-Hidalgo, Lana Aguilera; there were rumors that the UAS issued a statement which actually mentioned some peace terms. Would you be able to disclose those terms at this time?

Luis-Hidalgo: The specifics of the terms can not be discussed, however they did make an offer which included some benefits to us, but according to our officials not enough to warrant a peace, so terms were not acceptable.

Lana Aguilera: Under these terms would Uralsky, or any of Uralsky be returned?

Luis-Hidalgo: I can safely say that the return of Uralsky was not even mentioned in the offer, so no we would not have recieved Uralsky which is our main issue in this entire conflict.

Lana Aguilera: Moving on to another topic now, the Western Conference, which may be held in En Nahud. What is the plan for that, Euronews understands that the meeting was suggested by EU Officials.

Luis-Hidalgo: Yes that is accurate, although a lot has been thrown around about a Western Coalition against the Asians, that isn't the intent of the meeting. The intent of this meeting is to discuss trade issues as well as infrastructure issues and of course relations between Western Nations. So at no time was the possibility of a Western Coalition considered when thinking of this Conference.

Piero Scarboni: There was a transmission made by the Zulu Federation that clearly stated that their main cause for concern was the "death of another westerner." This indicates that some discussion of a formal military Coalition between the invitees could be achieved. What do you say to this?

Luis-Hidalgo: As I've said before, the intention of this meeting is not to establish a military pact of any kind. We must iron out issues which occured after the Adriatic-Israeli war, that is the main issue at hand. The press would like for this to be something of an issue-

Piero Scarboni: No Mr. Luis-Hidalgo, that is-

Luis-Hidalgo: An issue that involves war and death and intrigue, the fact is Mr. Scarboni that the Sahara, the Balkans, Saudi Arabia, countless areas of the Americas as well as the Sudan were completely torn to peices during these wars. All four of our nations were ravaged by these conflicts and our well being must be addressed. How this equates to wanting an alliance that will no doubt result in an even larger struggle is beyond my comprehension.

Lana Aguilera: Fair enough Mr. Luis-Hidalgo. Finally, what are your thoughts on the Zulu attempts at a peace keeping effort against the UAS?

Luis-Hidalgo: Well the EU greatly appreciates our alliance, and has done so for years. At this time we'd like to make a bigger attempt at actually aiding the Zulu efforts, but resources are limited as is manpower. But yes, we feel they are in the right here and hope their influence can result in a positive outcome.

Lana Aguilera: Thank you Secretary Luis-Hidalgo, and good luck in the future.

Luis-Hidalgo: Thank you.

Piero Scarboni: Well that was interesting. When we return from the break; European refugees are pouring into Khazakstan by the busloads, we take an inside look at the trail to Khazakstan when we return....

Piero Scarboni: UAS Soldiers escorting Catholic nuns from Savona are just one of the many terrible scenes witnessed along the trail to Khazakstan, a home away from home for many Uralskians...

Citizen 1: Our home was ripped apart by the dogs, they can't feel for a person and see the sadness they just want land.

Citizen 2: I have been walking for days, my feet are tired and my shoes are becoming warn. They tells us to move on, they want to replace us with Asian people.

Piero Scarboni: Things are not this simple though, the problem is not only the Asian's, it is also the FDP's. Most of these refugees refuse to go into EU territory in order to avoid gunfire and further pain and suffering, therefore the newly peaceful territory of Khazakstan is the safest bet. FDP Red Cross organizations are fighting time and money in attempts to accomodate these refugees, but it seems like too little to late...

Dr. Goldstein: Yes we've housed approximately twelve hundered refugees in this facility alone. Hardly any speak Hebrew, it makes it difficult to try and aide them. Its really horrible, even in the Balkans there weren't these types of situations, its cultural genocide.

Lana Aguilera: Europa resistance in Orsoni and Savona are becoming more severe as Eurokorps forces make their way from Finland for Moscow. Demonstrators refuse to accept Asian products and advertisements as seen on your screen...

Rebel 1: Its high time the Parliament got off its ass and started to make some moves here. There's hardly any munitions, some of us have to use rocks and flails, its like mideval times here in Orsoni.

Rebel 2: The Asian dogs continue to hold, they try and bring in their culture but we can't let them. VIVA EUROPA!!! (the crowd of rebels repeated this phrase)

Lana Aguilera: Well we have run out of time, thank you for listening to our special report. Please support Eurokorps as they attempt to liberate Uralsky. Thank you, and good night...

"Have all the Israelies arrived?"

"Yes sir, this is the best of the special forces they have to offer."

"Thank you captain."

"Welcome men. As you may know we are part of a joint military opperation between your nation and Mongolia to instruct you in a new method of combat. We call it guerrilla wafare. You will learn to blend in with your enemies, strike suddenly, operate in small cells, maintain resistance movements, as well as operate behind enemy lines. When these methods are combined with the traditional methods of combat ultilizing heavy artillery the results are quite impressive. When you return home you men will train your own divisions, so learn well the fate of your nation and our alliance may hang in the balance."

Letter to FDP head of State
We are sorry to inform you the provinces of the Urals will not be returned to the EU as part of any peace plan. The security of Mongolia is no better served having another foreign nation's troops stationed in this area. We cannot sacrifice our security solely to protect your impressive territorial gain in the new world. Had you negoiated a peace settlement as a joint venture with this situation would have been avoided and there would be no concearn over these minor areas. We are concearned that the gifts of technology and funding given to the Israeli people from Mongolia under the rule of Lord Dangime is being ignored and the Mongolian people while fond of the Israeli people feel that they are being treated poorly by their allies. Please consider this as you enjoy your peace, your allies are still at war.

Prime Minister's Mansion, Berlin...
"Winston, things are not that cut and dry." said Prime Minister Paginacci as he rubbed his forehead.

"I understand that Sir, however you must look at the entire picture. The Union can not afford to lose any part of Uralsky, let alone the entire thing. And the price? 300 Gold is nothing, its an insult if anything." said Winston Churchill.

"Carlos what do you think?" asked the Prime Minister, Carlos Luis-Hidalgo, the Secretary of State stared blankly at the latest message from the United Asian States.

"Well Enzo, I really don't know what I'd do were I in your situation. Personally I agree with Winston on this one, the UAS joined this war in order to support Israel against our aggression, that was their statement. Now that the war is over they are backing out on their statements that that would return to peace if Israel did. I really can't agree with anything that would allow them control of any part of the Union. But then again, they could gain much more if we continue." he looked up at the Prime Minister "Like I said, I don't really know what I'd do myself."

The Prime Minister quickly poured a glass of vodka and gulped it down "What is our status in Russia?"

"We know as much as you do." said Carlos.

"Listen Enzo, I say we try and continue the fight. Who knows? Maybe the Eurokorps will make some difference, however they are only infantry." replied Winston as he also poured a glass of vodka, a bit more than Enzo had.

"I can't believe this sh*t!" said Enzo as he threw his glass to the floor, breaking it "This is f*cking ridiculous, the damn Fascists got us into this situation and now we're clawing our way up! Christ almighty, what are we to do?" he leaned over his table and rubbed his temple.

"Well Sir" said Carlos cautiously "How far do you think the Asians will push this?"

"To the limits, as long as we continue our stance they'll continue their invasion, they could be in Moscow if we don't watch ourselves, right now they are only on the Asian side of the Urals, once they break the mountains into Russia, we'll have a real problem on our hands. They aren't even flinching at the Zulus, this whole situation is horrific."

"Well, what is the FDP doing about this? Do you think they'll join the UAS?" asked Churchill, finishing his drink.

"I don't know what they'll do Winston, you never know with those people. One minute they're your peace neighbors, the next minute your people are ducking for cover while they are shelling God knows what city. Klamens put me in a bind here." he slowly walked to the window and pulled open the curtain, there was a mass of peace protestors outside.

"I think the FDP is open to discussion with us, they don't seem to be jumping at the prospect of war again. Or at least they aren't bowing down to Eastern policy, which is good for a change, at least they're begining to act like a Western nation." replied Carlos.

"Look at them, protesting for peace. What do they want us to do? Give away Uralsky?" asked Enzo.

"No sir, mainly they're protesting the Eurokorps program, they think its illegal to send young men to war against their will." replied Churchill "Personally I think its rubbish, if you don't want to defend your own nation what good are you anyway?"

"Oh yes, the Zulus have suggested the Chinese be invited into the Western Conference." said Carlos Luis-Hidalgo "I think its a good idea, China's been pretty quiet as far as international incidents go lately, it would do them well to at least have a say for once. Not to mention it would do us well to see where they stand on many issues."

"I heared they were doing away with Communism?" asked Winston.

"Yes, I think the process has already begun, I'm not exactly sure right now." said Carlos.

"Alright well, here's what we are going to do." said Prime Minister Pagniacci "We'll see how our boys do, if they don't do well we'll have to talk to the UAS, I can't let this conflict blow up, for the world's sake. Another World War, especially this close to the last one, would do nobody good. So I guess what we're doing is hoping that our next wave does well, and then attempt to open discussions with the UAS either way, we need peace soon, even if it means another submission of defeat."

"I don't know if it will go well with Parliament if we surrendered." said Winston "Elections are coming in a year or two, and this could make or break you Enzo."

"If I can't return our citizens to us, then I don't deserve a victory Winston." replied Pagniacci.

"Yes, but the party would be hard-pressed to find a replacement, it would be a mess. I'm not making threats here, but we have to get this thing settled in a beneficial way, otherwise the Hawks are going to have a field day. I can't stand that Goddam DeGaulle you know, he's such an arrogant bastard!" said Churchill.

"Well believe me Winston, defeating DeGaulle is the last thing on my mind, besides you and I both know that the MP Elections will determine the outcome of the Prime Minister's Election-"

"Not necessarily Sir, I know plenty of Doves that aren't too keen on the prospect of a loss to the UAS, especially considering that your Eurokorps program isn't going to well with the populous. They may decided that Pagniacci's reign must come to an end." he said as he poured another glass of vodka.

"We'll see Winston, I can't think of that right now. That has to be the last thing on my mind." said Enzo as he approaced the door.

"Are we going so soon?" asked Carlos "Things were just getting interesting." he smiled.

"We have to be in En Nahud soon, we have a meeting with Chairwoman Kamma and I don't want to be tardy. Winston here has nothing better to do than go back to jolly old England and run his mouth, isn't that right friend?" asked Pagniacci.

"Oh yes, that is what my life consists of entirely." said Winston as he raised his glass and quickly gulped it down.

"Its amazing that two alcoholics run this country." quipped Luis-Hidalgo "I'll see you in Amsterdam Sir, I have a few things to handle before we depart, we are leaving from Amsterdam correct?"

"Yes, I believe so. What do you have to handle?"

"UN business, its nothing important. Winston, as always a pleasure." he said as he shook Churchill's hand.

"And Enzo, I'll see you in a few hours."

Somewhere dark and in Europe...
"Do you have it?"

"Yes yes, relax, are you always this tense?"

"The times warrant it, no?"

"I suppose. Here they are, I hope this helps."

"Ah yes, beautiful. This is exactly what I needed."

"I don't get it? How is this going to effect anything at all?"

"You'll see, everyone will see. Its funny because the poor bastards don't suspect a thing."

"Who's that now?"

"If I told you I'd have to kill you."

"Well I had every reason to think you'd kill me anyway."

"You're a smart man I see."

"Sire I hear the Asians are starting to train some of our soldiers in a new aspect of warfare. Unfortuanatly we cant do that ourselves here in the Provinces as we dont have that Manual. "

"Yes well I heasr that Dangime the grea wishes us to advance like they do. Guerilla Warfare will be good forthe FDP. Make the loss of another provinc elike Yemen not so costly."

"Yes but what of their other Scientific breakthrus, I hear they can garnish resources from the sea. the FDP has many provinces that are in desparate need of this. Also they have flying machines, we could travel further and faster with that knowledge."

"Yes I know, they seem to be very picky with what they give to allies"

"No wonder the FDP High Council voted for peace with the European Union, at least they have offered to open up a full trade and scientific knowledge flow."

"Yes, but we must await our delgations return from Mongolia, they may be able to train our soldiers if they bring the resources back with them, and who knows perhaps further knowledge will be given us"

OOC - Not the greatest news...
Sadly a few things have happened in the past few days that probably won't but could very well prevent me from playing this Thursday.

My father is now hospitalized with some type of lung disease, the doctors don't think it will be a major issue but they also said that they don't exactly know what it is. To make matters worse my cousin, who is only 14 months old has some type of kidney infection and is also hospitalized. I don't know if these two events are going to cause me to miss this or next week, but I'm just putting that out there in case they do, that's why I'm not around.

Sorry to somber up the game while its hitting a high note, but I had to make sure the air was cleared. Thanks for your prayers in advance.

Peace.

If Capo can't make it i'm available to kick some Asian butt. I wouldn't mind adding a short chapter to this saga anyhow.

As the duly appointed Foriegn Policy Representative for the Mali people I wish to formerly accept upon their behalf the invitation to attend the upcoming summit in En Nahud. Too long has this region of the world been decimated as a battleground; it is hoped with this meeting between our nations we might set the groundwork for a new era of peace and prosperity for all. It is to this end that the Mali send their delegation under the command of our Sovereign Leader Chaka.

yours for a Greater Africa,
Akien Mwandu
