Terrain Defence Bonus
In addition to terrain defence bonuses, a unit standing on a mountin should recieve a small attack bonus, if attacking a unit on flat ground.

This should also apply to air units attacking ground units.

What do you think?

This would much more reflect the reality.

French armies lost the battle of Dien Bien Phu because they were on flat ground surrounded by mountains, that were occupied by Indochinese armies (former Viet Nam).

Huh, I haven't ever understood why French generals put their armies in such a place... I think they had been compelled to.

Anything on the ground, not fortified with anti-aircraft battery, and not holding a stinger missle should be defenseless against an air attack. Nothing like watching a rifleman or partisan in the field damage, let alone take down, a bomber. MedMod2 had a solution for this. Guess Wes schooled Sid!!
