Map Editing Prob with Fungus


after a 6-month SMAX hiatus, I'm back.... and I have a map editing problem.

after putting the final touches on a huge custom map, I had trouble with creating random fungus. I used Edit Map->Create/Remove Fungus->Medium->Add and saved the map. it placed fungus and Fungal Towers. when I loaded it up in a game or thru the map editor again, no Fungal Towers existed, but the fungus did!!!

what's the deal? is it a map editor prob or an alphax.txt prob?

I don't think it's a problem of either the editor or alphax.txt.

If you want native's to be in place you'll need to make a scenario instead of a custom map.

If you want fungus to be placed exactly where you want it, do that manually with the editor rather than with a general 'generate random fungus, medium amounts please' command.
