Really? I actually prefer it to the sailing ships. What would you suggest I focus on? The paddlewheel?

The paddlewheel is great, I just think that the ship is too fat.

Anyone ever make a sternwheeler? Brits used them on the Nile and Tigris between 1890-1920.

Well, my reference was the Imperialism side-view so I had to guess the width.
Anyone ever make a sternwheeler?
Would it look similar to http://www.rubylane.com/ni/shops/grayhorse/iteml/1863? If not, a picture is worth a thousand words.

1,000 words at The Tigris Flotilla (it's a little more spartan than those Mississippi boats. If I can get my scanner to work, I have a good photo or two. Don't rush to do this, though. Unfortunately, it's looking like I may have to purge it from my @units.

nice!
Just a thing wrong. Austrian infantry hat . As you draw it - was adopted after 1710 ( Zsibo pass or something like that - Mick, help!!!! ). Ausiliary german forces used it this way. I'll try to post a pic. it looked more like a smaller version of a spanish sombrero, much more XVII century stile then XVIII one.
ps a couple of more links.
http://www.baccus6mm.com/kuhncds.htm
and
http://www.megalink.net/~dschorr/
And spain had yellow base under "la sencilla".

I know there is an extensive collection of unit sheild designs. Is anyone aware of an Afrika Korps Design as is displayed below? Oh yeah, you can also see my miserable attempt in the top right corner

If the JGV initials hadn't been resolved yet... The only JGV I know would be Juan González Villa (aka Fiera).
And not to forget... Great graphics!

Prometeus:
the dodgy purple thing - that sometimes happens when you cut from a bmp and paste in a gif, and then load the image into FW editor. It's happened to me with cities.gif
