Help: W98 crash on install

I get a fatal error when I try to play ctp2 on a quite new Windows 98
OS desktop with no other applications running. Has anyone else had this problem? I have run it before on my W98 laptop without any problem. No patches or modes involved. Right out of the box. Any help would be appreciated.

I never had any problems... try again, maybe some drivers on your system are incompatible???

Apparently a system error due to too little space on C drive. OK now.
