The Secret Project
Yes, I'm interrupting (laugh) work on Kyokujitsu to bring you this breaking news.
I have a secret project in the works.
Feel free to guess.
Here's a few notes though:
The scenario will be for Fantastic Worlds.
It is going to use mostly off-the-shelf units from a recent scenario.

If its not about Korea, is it the version of 'Raging Dragon' designed for play as the Russians that you were talking about making a while ago?

Some more clues:
The tentative title is "Red Cataclysm"
I require the following units if anybody has them on hand already, if not I'll draw them:
Il-28
AH-64
AH-1
F-4
F-5
and another pic...

Modern day invasion of South Korea. I see a DMZ, modern combat helmets, and fighters that the U.S. doesn't fly anymore but gave away in large numbers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the Chinese use quite a few F-4s? Of course, they're obsolete. The South Korea thing sounds right.

I was thinking of the F-4 Phantom, which the chinese have none. They may have another plane with that designation though since they usually have a different name for their stuff than us.

I'll change my vote to modern day Korean War
Here are some units DV. They're all taken from a compilation put together by Jimmywax, and from left to right are by: BreBro, Captain Nemo and Andrew Livings.

How about something involving East Germany and some other warsaw pact countries before the fall of the wall. I just keep looking at those helmets and can't quite figure them out. they remind me of the old Nazi helmets, but they also kind of look like the kevlar helmets we switched to in the mid eighties.

O.K., I am going back to my original guess of Modern Korea. I have another question though. I have never been able to download your Korean War scenario. Is it missing like IE tells me or is it just screwed up.

The PLAAF has a J-4, which was designated both as F-4 and J-4 by NATO until recently, now it's accepted as the J-4 I think. It's a copy of the MiG-15 IIRC

Ya know I knew that, but I just couldn't find the damn thing anywhere. I have several links from when I had a China vs. Taiwan in mind, I couldn't find it to save my ass though.

Woo Hoo ! I was right. Them are some fine looking jets you made there too.
P.S. Then again, it is pretty hard to be wrong when you shoot at everything.
P.S.S. Any word on that original Korean War scenario.

Did you try the mirror at geocities?
But yeah, it's a modern Korean war scenario. I successfully imported those Jet graphics from Falcon 4.0 (great for importing lots of modern aircraft and weaponry).
And the blue flag units are the United Nations since the UN technically exercises control over the combined army in South Korea.

I just tried the mirror site and it came along beautifully.
Falcon huh? I may have to buy it and see what they got.

How many Korean War scenarios are now underway?
I seem to remember reading posts by Cavadeus (sp?) and Jimmywax hinting that they had Korean war scenarios under construction.
Maybe someone should set up a scenario design competition?
